When they put you off in the separate building i was under the assumption it would be safely gated like the main property it’s not. Anyone can come off in the buildings sketchy.
This is a great little beach hotel within walking distance to many dining options

Maria's is always my 'go to' place to stay while at Isla Mujeres! The property is always clean and the staff is incredibly kind and helpful. Only 4 stars for the property conditions as some of the rooms could use some updates, but the location on beautiful North Beach makes this place hard to beat.
Very close place to play Norte maybe a little more power and Wi-Fi but for the rest, everything was OK
This property is directly on North beach, it’s the prettiest beach I’ve seen in Mexico so far. Warm turquoise shallow water. The staff was friendly, helpful and able to assist with any request. The room was dated, but mostly clean. The only issue with the room is that the shower head had not been cleaned in years so the water stream went all over the place. I would recommend this hotel for anyone heading to this island.
