Royal Nakara Ao Nang

3 nights off season. Hotel was quiet but staff were very friendly and helpful. Top floor has nice views across the bay and the room was very spacious, with a large balcony. Area is a bit of a walk from the main beachfront road but there are many good restaurants nearby such as bussaba for thai food and carnivore for western. Wifi is poor though. Good value overall.

It was great for our two day stay. Wi fi in the room work wery bad, at the looby good. Pool is just for looking not for used. It was okej:)

Overall a lovely experience. Great hotel, staff we really nice. Breakfast was delicious. Room was big and very clean. It's a bit hidden from the main road, so people may get lost trying to get there for the first time. We got lost!

We were greeted with juice upon arrival which was great because it was a long walk to get to the hotel. The second day there was no water. The third day there was no electricity. You'll notice an award from 2013 for the hotel in the lobby. Seems like they haven't kept it up for the past few years.

Very comfortable stay..They upgraded our booking to superior room for free..breakfast options are little less..there is no elevator in the hotel..Always ask for high rise floors..A bit far from beach but u can easily take a motorbike..

Great experience at the Royal Nakara. The staff's English isn't too great but they carried our bags up the stairs and were VERY accommodating. Super nice and spacious room.

Ok hotel, needs some updating. Although it has a pool, there is NO WHERE to sit by it!

We were disappointed with our night staff check-in. They seemed more interested in watching TV than checking us in. Limited English. Our room was huge, almost too big. The hotel was a bit shabby and the pictures must have been taken some years ago. Our deck had black mold on it, so we did not go out on it. The breakfast was mediocre. The room had a number of items not working (lights, kitchenette sink, etc.). The day staff was definitely better, but we weren't there during the day time much. I would not recommend this hotel. There are others close by that appear much nicer and newer.
