Holiday Inn Express Hotel & Suites Perry by IHG

The bed was dirty sheets had blood spots on them, floors in room were dirty and the wall in The shower were dirty! No linen available only had. Wash cloth and 2 towels! The people that worked there responded with no we do t for anything you ask! The food for the breakfast was horrible watered down juices and the pancake machine didn’t work! No napkins they were out! However true bed was very comfortable!

Had business in town after the hurricane blew through. Despite alot of places being out of power and alot of damage in the area this place had power and everything I needed with regards to the store and behind the counter. Hotel was very clean and the staff were polite and friendly. I even forgot my hat there and they helped me get it back!

From check in to check out. Nothing but issues. From one towel for 2 people to overflowing trash cans all around the property. Stains on both bed sheets. Hair in shower and bathroom. Nasty stains in the shower. Cold breakfast. Terrible customer service. Will NOT give extra towels no matter how many times u ask each day. The hallways/ lobby area stink. Eventually the stench makes its way into your room over the course of 2 nights. This location is ruining holiday inns reputation!!!! 165 a night is absurd for the quality of this hotel. 70 dollars a night at best would be a little bit better of an offer. Lobby toilets have mold growing on them. Beer cans all over the ground outside due to no trash cans that aren’t overflowing. Bring your Clorox wipes and get to cleaning cause your room will be filthy upon check in!! TERRIBLE

Everything about the first room was dirty not to mention the a/c didn’t work! Once I convinced the lady at the front desk to move us to a new room it wasn’t much better to say the least. No towels dirty bed linens and overall a terrible experience

Clean, Comfortable, Great Staff, Good truck and trailer parking available. No restaurant For Dinner at night. Had to leave property at night after all day travel, just to eat. Everything in this small town closes early for dinner.

We chose this hotel for a relaxing 1-night stop during a long camping trip. Hotel appearance is good. Nice lobby, breakfast area, pool, etc. But it became frustrating when we had to change rooms twice. First room's door would not close and lock automatically as it should. You'd shut it -- try pulling it hard to engage and nothing. Well, we couldn't leave the room with all our stuff inside with this issue! I called front desk and was told "it will probably work if you lift up on the door while shutting" but she was happy to give us another room. Yeah, that kinda worked but I'm not strong enough to lift one of those dang doors. Obviously the door issue must happen on multiple rooms for her to know the trick to address it. Second room -- the toilet would not flush properly. The water would rush in but not drain right and bowl started filling up more and more. My hubby checked tank to try and do a simple fix but no. So, we request room 3. Nice lady at desk gave us a suite room for our trouble. Even that room was odd. Previous smaller rooms had a/c control on wall. The suite wall thermostat/control did not work and you used the controls on actual ac/heating unit under window. Definitely a humidity issue in the room too -- no matter how much you'd turn up the ac, the sheets and linens had damp feel to them (like when you're in a very humid / hot beach type motel). Many rooms must have issues because while we waited on room #3 in lobby, we overhead another new guest come back to speak to clerk about a problem in his room (he was okay with staying in it, if she could just send maintenance person). The breakfast was very nice and enjoyable, I will say. However, I doubt we'll stay at this hotel again.

I stayed at this location one year ago and they were finishing remodeling the motel at that time so I overlooked a lot as I knew they were rebuilding. Staying there this year the remodel is done but the place is in complete shambles. Trash everywhere all the time , overflowing trash cans at all times , dirty towels piled in the hallway that stayed there my entire 2 day stay. After my first nights stay my room was not tidied up or replenished with towels and coffee etc . Also the pool area is not secured and the locals for miles around come and go to use the pool as their own. I believe the staff knew them and allowed it. This was my second stay at this location and it will be my last. Very disappointed.
