Hotel Vibra Riviera

Tiene buena situación, comida buena, personal excelente, pero la insonorisacion de las habitaciones, puertas y mobiliario ruidoso y muy viejo insoportable el descanso y difícil de aparcar porque el hotel no tiene ni 10 aparcamientos gratuitos por lo que siempre están ocupados.

The hotel's website accepted and confirmed my booking without giving me any chance to pay. Later I received an email cancelling the booking without giving any explanation or offering any means of redress. I emailed asking for the booking to be upheld, and to tell me how I could pay for it. That email was ignored. Unable to wait or to be messed about any more, I booked through hotels.com. I've never stayed in a hotel which was more bare and spartan. The breakfast room had all the ambience of a works canteen, with tables crammed in far too close together (see photo). There was no muesli. When I went back to my room after breakfast, I hung the "Non Molestar" sign on the door (see photo). Soon afterwards the chambermaid knocked on the door wanting to know whether she could clean the room. When I said "NO!", pointing to the "Do Not Disturb" sign, she said "later, or tomorrow?". I said "later, but NOT when I'm in it!". Very unsettling. The hotel reception persistently refused to tell me the times of the buses to the airport. I got the times easily from a friendly and helpful receptionist at the Playa Bella Apartments nearby, where I wished I'd stayed because it had much better pools, located right on the beach unlike the Playa do sol Riviera's which are surrounded on three sides by buildings (see photo). 20 Euros deposit was charged by the hotel reception for the loan of a beach towel, an extortionate and hostile amount for something costing about 5 Euros to replace.

We had a short stay and the hotel had everything we needed. The staff were really friendly, helpful and attentive to our needs. The room was clean and comfortable - with a great view from the balcony.

The included breakfast was excellent. It had everything! Full course! Free parking, but very small parking lot. May need to find parking on the street. I don't know if it was just our room, but the bathroom had sort of a big vent through which it was easy to hear neighbors. Also, from the room the plumbing in the wall was very audible.

People make the place. Is an old horel, that clearly needs a refurbishment, but you wouldn’t really care if the staff was nice. They are not. Rude and inexperienced receptionists (Fabio for all), and poor breakfast service.

Excellent breakfast choice, there’s everything you could ask for. Staff were very friendly. Rooms were of a good standard. Overall a pleasant stay & would recommend.

The property was walking distance to the clubs in the San Antonio Bay Area ( 35-40 euro cab ride to Ibiza Town-opposite side of the island). The rooms are a bit small and dated,but if your in Ibiza I doubt you’ll spend much time in your room. Try to get the all in exclusive rate. I had breakfast deal only but was able to upgrade for around 30 euros a night to get unlimited drinks (select kinds) and lunch,snack bar and dinner . It’s a great savings since the island is quite pricey.

Earlier comments about noise is due to poor fitting, non existent, fire doors, thin walls but mainly caused by loutish behaviour of some guests. The staff were excellent throughout and the range of food amazing. Brits are the biggest moaners about food especially those whose waistlines show over indulgences. Loved the location, and mid June, before the rush, was a good time to visit and enjoy this fine hotel.

Stairway from hotel to road dangerous. No indication of step edge at various widths. White paint required and and lighting installation as there is none at present which makes it very dangerous to go down these steps at night. I had 4 occasions of wrenched back even when I knew of the hazards. Other than this I give this hotel a high mark.

Good hotel. Make sure you take cash for the horrid tourist tax which I wasnt aware off also you have to hand in deposit of 2€ for use of a cup, which you hand to the barman and he gives you your drink and then if you want another you have to take your cups back and at end you need to collect your token after returning your cup. You get the 2€ back on giving token back to reception. Food good, beer good for all inclusive rest of drinks massively watered down!
