Anchor In Distinctive Waterfront Lodging

Property location is excellent - on the harbor but short drive/walking distance to Main Street with many shops/restaurants. Plenty of parking. Staff is very friendly! We were greeted with a nice welcome and a tour of the property. We were given great restaurant suggestions! Common areas were fresh and looked to have been updated recently. Our room was on the second floor with only stair access. We are both seniors and it took some effort to get our luggage up/down to/from our room. The room was spacious and clean with a safe balcony that had a nice view of the harbor. The beds were comfortable and clean and there was plenty of seating and storage in the room and on the balcony (seating). There was a strong smell of cleaning products in the room. The room could use a bit of a refresh - paint was scuffed in several areas and it was difficult to access the coffee maker due to very little space. The water pressure in the shower was light so it took a while to thoroughly rinse my long-ish hair. At check-in they offer a choice of daily housekeeping or a basket of towels, coffee, toilet paper, etc. be left at the room. We liked that we had options! We chose a basket. We left our room at 8:30 and returned around 1 and we were happy to see the basket (bag) was by the door when we arrived. Unfortunately, the bag had only fresh towels, nothing else. Free breakfast offered good variety. No recycle bins in our room. Didn't notice any in the common areas either.

Everything was Amazing, Sandy is truly a delight, she makes this place special. Our room was amazing, beautiful waterview, and very spacious. Highly recommend.

Staff was super helpful and timely. Property was gorgeous and very cute.

The breakfast was lovely with lots of nice choices. Sandy was not only hospitable but very friendly and made our stay more pleasant and fun.

The location was a little bit further and thought we could walk to the ferry terminal but with timing it was t applicable

Me, my boyfriend and cat enjoyed our stayed. Beautiful view, great space, clean..truthfully everything about it was amazing. Would definitely come back and stay here!

A room with a patio door with a balcony was much appreciated and the floor of wood instead of a carpet was very nice. Very quiet place and very friendly staff.

Beautiful quaint hotel, with a nice view of the water. The place has a pool, a fire pit and nice spacious rooms. Would stay again.
