Stayed here May 15-17 for a Sea World trip. For the amount of money the rooms cost and the decent reviews, we were very disappointed. The hotel allowed an event there Friday and Saturday night which caused the parking lot to be full. You have to pay to park or get a voucher but then have no where to park. I made a comment to the staff after the second night and was told to park in the gas station next door. I explained there was no way I was doing that and it was ridiculous the hotel it not accommodating to its paying customers before non-paying customers. I was then told to just park in the fire lane- ya not doing that either. The final conclusion was for me and numerous other guest to park in the sister hotel next door. Come 11pm at night I went and moved our vehicle back the Courtyard Marriott. The next day, I have a parking ticket…The front staff was very accommodating in making that go away but it was extremely frustrating. When asked if all the event people received tickets I was told no as the security doesn’t drive thru until later in the day. The frustrations was also much higher due to the elevators being extremely slow, the next door hotel guest taking over the pool, and no hot/warm water during showers. I also met two other couple who was just as upset for other reasons. I will never stay here again.
