Cobblestone Inn & Suites - Durand

I liked the area around the river where my dog and I could walk around.

Only hotel local to where we wished to go

If stairs are not your friend - please request a 1st floor unit as there is no elevator. It is basically the only hotel in town. So book early if going for a weekend.

The property was super clean. Not only in the rooms, but also in the hallways and stairwells. The breakfast seating area was small. However, they served both hot and cold items. The breakfast items were hot, fresh and appealing. All the guests were quiet and respectful. Overall, it was an awesome stay in Durand.

The hotel was very accommodating and the room was spotless. Nice lounge area and have a good selection for breakfast. We would definitely stay again and highly recommend. We intend to go back as the town looks like it has some history and a river for boating.

Needs a pool

The room was cleaner than most places we've stayed. No complaints there! The continental breakfast on the other hand, was disappointing. Very limited food and what they had wasn't hot at all. I had the biscuits and gravy and scrambled eggs. My wife had toast because the waffle she made, tasted a bit doughy, so that was thrown out. The guy who worked the front desk didn't acknowledge me when I said hi to him and didn't say much to us at all. Very disappointed with someone who deals in this industry. The young man that checked us in at night, was very pleasant, had a sense of humor and offered for us to let him know if there was anything to make our stay better. We'll stay here again when in the area but will eat breakfast elsewhere.

We were “greeted” by the most unwelcoming person who barely spoke 3 words to us. Very uncomfortable beds and the showers only offered tepid water. Not what you expect or want from a $154 price! May be the only hotel in town, but a little more effort would be appreciated.
