Hotel is old, need renovation. Staff was very friendly

Staff were extremely pleasant and helpful. We loved the evening entertainment on the night we checked in — the female singer was fantastic and created such great vibes. The following evening’s entertainer, a male singer, was also brilliant. I loved the art in the lobby and the overall ambience. It was our first time in Nigeria and it definitely didn’t disappoint. We’ll be coming back! There was also a waiter whose name I unfortunately can’t remember, but he was fantastic — so friendly, attentive, and patient. He explained the menu clearly and looked after us so well. I wasn’t sure what type of egg to have with my yam, and he even took the time to explain what stewed egg was.

Nothing was good and buffet style food good

I had my corporate event at the Movenpick hotel Ikoyi in the months of September and October 2025. Marian and her banquet team were very helpful and ensured we had a successful event. I will recommend the Movenpick hotel Ikoyi Lagos for all your corporate retreat and seminars. Olufemi Joseph

I hosted an event on Saturday, 11th October, at Mövenpick Hotel, Ikoyi, and was very impressed with the experience. The hall was excellent, the service was efficient, and the staff were exceptionally courteous and professional. Overall, I was very satisfied with both the venue and the quality of service provided. I look forward to hosting future events there.

My first hotel stay since arriving in Lagos only 2 days before. On arrival I was not sure what to expect, but the stay was far in excess of how I believed I would be looked after. The staff were great, making sure that even though I had no physical form of ID, they reduced my anxiety considerably by accepting the incomplete photo of my passport as proof of my ID. The room was very quiet and the one night I spent there made me want to stay there again. The artwork and decor, particularly on the ground floor is stunning. The location is great, its only the Lagos traffic which presents any issues about getting to and from the location.

The poolside food and drink service could have been a little quicker, but maybe thats because I was bit tired and hungry when I arrived, so I wouldn't make a really big deal about it.
