My room had recently been redone

Some of the rooms are in former one story motel next to the two story building. While they were redone, I didn’t want to be in a room with a door out to the parking lot. The photos didn’t really show that. And when I asked the clerk about it she was weirdly formal and corporate about the room type I had chosen being there.

I have stayed here several times before and was happy with everything except the wifi which was weak and has never got better. This time we had a 1st floor room right by the lobby. The wifi was still not good, the pillows on the bed were bricks, there were extremely bright lights right outside our window. We could hear people walking around in the room above us all night long. The 1st floor ice machine did not work.

The bed was comfortable, the room was clean, the shower was good. Wifi was great. There was coffee in reception. It was around 50 miles to Yellowstone east entrance

On arrival no one was at the check in desk. A lady who was sat on one of the settees in reception got up and said " just when you sit down..." she was not friendly or welcoming. The room we were allocated was a motel type room on the end of a block. The main road was next to us. The door didn't have extra locks like most do and I felt very unsafe the nights we were there. I put our heaviest suitcases in front of the door for my peace of mind but it could have been a fire risk doing so. The room itself was sort of two open plan rooms with a bed & tv in each and a very small bathroom in between. The room had 2 desks, 2 chairs and inexplicably, a very large outdoor bench all in pine. I found the room dark and depressing to be honest. It was not worth it for me.

The room was fine, although i didn't know it was in a different building.

The staff who checked us in was quite abrupt and defensive about our room being located in the annex. I had no problem with that, but she was absolute that those were the options i chose when booking. I don't reacll any questions or options, i just picked a double queen room and booked it.

The staff was helpful, and they refreshed my room every day. Coffee, tea, and hot chocolate were available 24/7, and the coffee was very good. Besides, the supermarkets, restaurants, and other stores are really close by as Cody is a vibrant town.

There was nothing that I didn't like.

The room design was great..area great. They cleaned room daily even though it was not needed

There was nothing we did not like. Friendly staff.
