Manor Farm Bed & Breakfast

My only complaint relates to finding the location in the dark! Other than that, it was a thoroughly enjoyable stay - easily the best B&B I’ve had for a considerable time. I’m hoping an opportunity arises to stay again.

Catherine & Julian couldn’t have been more welcoming. They were attentive without being intrusive. There was everything you could want with Catherine’s delicious breakfast. The room was spacious and the bed super comfy and the bathroom was spacious with a fabulous shower. We would highly recommend this beautiful house. It is so tastefully decorated with pictures and objects that tell a story of pride-of - ownership. Thank you so much Catherine and Julian.

My stay was for work, so just there for a night, nice and clean

Amazing stay and host. We were cooked a great breakfast with some of the nicest (homemade) bread I’ve ever had! Felt like I was in my own family home. Thanks - Steve and Elyas. :)

Manor Farm stay was brilliant. The hosts are so friendly and helpful and will go out of the way to help and make one's stay comfortable. Great value for money!

Great stay great hosts

Overall the property and owner were pleasant and our stay was comfortable. However, we and the other guests, had a bit of a shock regarding the following. Breakfast times 6.00am to 8.30am !! I've never been asked to remove my shoes on entering the property ! Not a problem you might say, but for anyone wearing footwear without socks, its quite a shock to be suddenly walking around and up and down from your room, in bare feet ! Lastly, we had the unfortunate experience of finding that the cups in our room appeared to smell of and been washed using the hand sanitiser from the bathroom. Consequently, what ever drink you try to make in your room tasted absolutely awful.

This lovely old farmhouse was filled with antiques in fine taste, the bed and bedding were the nicest I’ve had in any accommodation anywhere, the village was charming, the breakfast was scrumptious (homemade bread!) and the hostess went above and beyond in being friendly and helpful!

What a lovely, authentic experience. The breakfasts can't be beat. We took the most lovely walks around the town. Just be aware -- there's not a shop or restaurant in the town except for one very busy pub that was not able to accommodate us for dinner. We were without a car, so we need to take some expensive cabs to another nearby town for dinner. This has nothing to do with the Manor Farm, which is lovely, just be aware that it's best to visit Grittleton with a car! Enjoyed our stay -- one of the most comfortable beds ever....
