Coolin View Guest Rooms

Our room had a super view looking out over the water. Although the bathroom was small it had a lovely shower and super fluffy towels.

There were lots of narrow stairs up to our room, we only had overnight bags but suitcases would have been difficult to carry up. The room was compact and we both stubbed our toes on the corner of the bed - perhaps some protection around the bottom would prevent this?

Rooms were very comfortable and well laid- out. You cannot get a better (or nicer) location than this in Portree. Would definitely return.

The parking situation is not ideal because there are more rooms than there are lots so parking after a long day is a bit hit and miss. The upside is that parking is literally 5 steps away from the front door, which is probably better than most in Portree.

The picture booking.com showed me was of a top floor room looking out at the harbour. The room I got was at the back looking out at a wall. Misleading, possibly even fraudulent.
