EI8HT Brighton Guest Accommodation

The room was in a basement but was very well equipped and comfortable. Location was fantastic.

Nothing we didn't like. Parking was difficult but our hosts were extremely helpful with parking locations and permits

Great location for Brighton Marathon and had everything we needed for a 2 night stay.

The only criticism was that the double bed was a little on the small side and the mattress topper hung over the sides a bit, making sleeping feel a bit unstable. It was a tight squeeze having a double bed and a sofa in the room.

The price was excellent, less than £100 for two nights in Kemp Town. It was as expected for the price. We had a small problem but when phoning the staff they did fix it the next day. We booked a compact room, which it was, so we can't really complain about that.The bathroom was ok, of reasonable cleanliness.

The promised wifi was not working in our room on the top floor, but this was rectified the next day. Although we had a private bathroom, it wasn't ensuite so that was little odd, but you get used to it. Although it was a compact room, there was no where to store anything and it could have done with a small table or something similar.

The bed was comfortable. While the bathroom was external to the room it had a lock and key so only we could access it. The location was good.

The room got very hot very easily and when the window was open all the sound from outside disturbed rest. The room above/nearby had no sound proofing so could hear all conversations and walking around and very creaky floorboards which disturbed rest. The room was very small so little space for movement or to put things and there’d be no space for a fan when very hot in summer let alone a spring booking.
