ネフスキー大通りからモイカ運河沿いに20mほど入った位置が入口。入口は駐車場に面し暗証番号で開けるドアタイプのため一見従業員用裏口に見えるので注意。エルミタージュ美術館に近く大変便利な立地です。無料朝食は野菜果物もあり満足。部屋別エアコン無し。フロントは2階でホテルにエレベーターがないため大きな荷物の場合は大変かも。

Muy buena ubicación

Excellent hotel with reasonable price. Location is very good, as it is very centrally located and metro is also just minutes away. Rooms are a bit small but clean. Breakfast might be the only thing, where the lower price does show. It is reasonable, but nothing special. I would definitely stay there again.

Espectacular ubicacion, precio razonable, instalaciones renovadas, desayuno frugal...pero correcto. Si Ud es de los que le gusta el lujo o es de los que le busca el pelo al huevo...entonces pague el doble y vaya a otro lado. Volvería mil veces

Excellent location and kind staff. Very poor amenities (especially toiletries) and moderate breakfast, but, in general it was a pleasant stay.

Best location where you dont even need to take public transport for sight seening.

The location of By the Hermitage is perfect - within walking distance to all the highlights of St. Petersburg. The reception staff is friendly, speaks good English and is very helpful when you need directions or information. The room that we had was adequate for a one night stay - a bit on the small side. Our room was clean but housekeeping needs to change the shower curtain more often - ours had a mildew odour. Also, the stairs going to the rooms need to be vacuumed on a regular basis. When we checked in, we noticed that the hallways, staircase and front lobby needed to be cleaned from walk in debris. Also, this hotel does not have an elevator - ask for a first floor room if you have difficulty climbing stairs with luggage.

The best part of this hotel is the location. It is amazing. Within walking distance of all the main sights. The staff was helpful and did their best to help me with some challenging lost luggage problems. The hotel *is* in an old building which means that what you gain in character, you lose a bit in luxury and quiet.
