WakaGangga

WakaGangga is a beautiful and peaceful resort. The staff are incredibly professional, friendly, and helpful. The restaurant offers a variety of delicious dishes. The only issue is the location, very isolated and far from anything. Although the resort is directly on the beach, swimming is not allowed. The closest beach is 45-60 minutes away.

From the first moment my lady entered the Villa she loved it. I did too. Much better than the images on the Web. Great place, great service, great food and very happy smiling staff that where very friendly. Could not fault this Resort for a lovely romantic getaway with your chosen one. Delightful!

Large size with lots of room and privacy. Each guest has their own small compound. (some with a private pool some without) Resort is on a slight slope with the beach below.

スタッフはいつも笑顔で親切です。朝食は数種類のコースから選択します。ビーチはホテルの目の前で、海の眺めは最高です。海で泳ぐことは推奨されていませんでしたが、サーフィンをしている人はいました。ビーチ沿いで簡易の飲食店が営業しており地元飯が食べられます。お腹の弱い方にはオススメしません。プール付きの部屋でしたが、プールがあまり清潔ではなく入りませんでした。

Unique place, clean and quiet place! Impecable customer service

The Waka Gangga Resort is a tranquil and engaging place to rejuvenate the body, mind and spirit. The room, amenities, staff, food, service, location, activities, grounds, spa, restaurant, and more were FAULTLESS. This is our second time at the Waka Gangga and we feel like it is a second home. Every staff person we met was friendly and interesting to talk with. We have gotten to know several of them. The beach is largely unpopulated except by a few local fishermen and women gathering grasses for their chickens. We were lucky enough to help release young turtles into the ocean with local people who, with the assistance of the Waka Gangga Resort, protect their wildlife. The food is first class and the massages and treatments are fabulous. The prices are very reasonable. We believe that if you TREAT YOURSELF to a stay at the Waka Gangga Resort, you will thank yourself very much.

Amazing! Staff was great! Food and accommodation was superior!

We happened on this place by happy accident. It is far from Denpasar (the town where the big airport and most of the big resorts are) - not sure the distance but it was a two-hour drive with heavy traffic but SO WORTH IT! WakaGangga is a small venue - we counted about twenty-five private villas - set in a semi-rural, seaside location. Our villa was beautiful, spacious, well maintained with decidedly authentic tropical decor. We neither saw nor heard many of the other guests, except at meal times, which was okay with us. The beaches were deserted, the surf a bit challenging if one wanted to get in it (and surfers did; some taking lessons.) The staff were all exceptional, speaking better-than-passable English. They were friendly and seemed genuinely eager to make our stay as pleasant as possible. Mornings started with an early serenade by the local bird population. The first day, that was annoying because it was surprising. From then on, it was welcome, it was positively added charm to the place. THIS is the Bali you came to see. Forget the cities. At WakaGangga, you’re close to the UNESCO rice terrace site and several small and charming villages. The Resort hired private drivers for us at ridiculously low rates and they were all very good. One tip: be sure to get your airport pickup-driver’s direct phone number. There is a veritable sea of drivers with signs at the airport exit. Identifying ours turned out to be an adventure all its own but a quite amusing one at that!
