Holiday Inn Express Hotel & Suites Clute-Lake Jackson by IHG

At first our reservation was a large room with 2 separate private rooms or u can say a room in which you have 2 separatesoors or rooms, but when we arrived they told me that they have a single room, although our expedia reservation clearly says we have a large room with 2 private doors. Anyways, we have no choice as she said she has that kind of room but at triple the price. We took the single room, upon entrance the room, Bedsheets were v dirty, so we had to wait. Room service was very prompt and professional. Breakfast was good. Elevator was making weird noises. Overall, nice family place. V close to restaurants and convenient commute to Surfside beach. Only disappointed and confused why expedia booked us a false room and the hotel has different upon arrival. Front desk told me they cannot do anything although they agreed our reservation is different, and that he will take a note of it.

Things are broken and internet does not work during our stay.

This was the worst experienced i've had in my life. Checked in time supposed to be at 3pm and we didn't get the room until after 4:30pm. Then when we got the room, the room was dirty, the bed still had hair which mean that the sheet was never replaced. we had to call the front desk again to come and replace it. It took them forever to come and replaced it. then, when they showed up, they told us to get out of the room because they didn't want us to see if they did replace or not. they were freaky rude! we will not stay at this hotel again! Note: The front lady was freaky rude!!!

On June the 6 I received your email about me. Contacting the hotel to change date. A request that I had made to booking.com. I called the hotel and they informed me that I did not have a reservation for June 8 through the ninth. I insisted and they told me they could not do anything about it. Contact your booking agent.
