Hacienda Maria Bonita Hotel

Its location. It’s close to Quinta Avenida… accessible to almost everything.

The staff especially the receptionists, they’re not friendly, welcoming, helpful and knowledgeable. There’s not enough power plugs, especially ones near the bed. One is in the bathroom, another across the foot of the bed, and one is in the small kitchen. Hassle!

The hotel looks as colourful and nice as in their pictures. The location is optimal at a walking distance to the beach and to many restaurants. The staff is friendly and they do borrow towels for the beach (make sure to return them to do not incur in charges).

The WiFi is extremely weak. The tab of the sink in the bathroom is fixed too much on the edge of the sink and the even to wash the hands you ending up making a mess on the bathroom sink top and you cannot use it to store your toiletries as those will ended being socked in water. Even if the reservation stated “al taxes and fees are included” I been forced to pay an additional local tax which I now claim back with Booking as this is an unfair practice of business. If you have light sleep this is not the place for you, due to the location close to bars and clubs you might hear music and noise until 1 or 2am. The water of the pool was clean however the surface was full of dead mosquitoes and make us feel uncomfortable to take a bath in it, however other guest were enjoy it, so I guess is depending from standards.

Zimmer waren sauber, die Lage ist wirklich top – man kann alles zu Fuß erreichen. Auch Einkaufsmöglichkeiten sind direkt in der Nähe

Da das Coco Bongo direkt nebenan liegt, wird man jeden Abend von etwa 21:00 Uhr bis 03:00 Uhr durchgehend beschallt. Das Zimmer ist sehr hellhörig, der Bass dröhnt ununterbrochen – selbst mit Gehörschutz ist an erholsamen Schlaf kaum zu denken.

Mucho ruido en las noches y el precio no conside con el de la página web

Chambre spacieuse, situation géographique idéale, proche du terminal de bus ADO, de la plage, du ferry (pour Cozumel), de la quinta Avenida. Jolie décoration très colorée en style hacienda.

De par sa situation, environnement bruyant, du moins depuis la chambre que nous avions, avec la musique des bars alentour, prévoir des boules Quies si on a le sommeil léger.
