The Westin Riverfront Mountain Villas, Beaver Creek Mountain

Check in was smooth. Hotel has all sorts of amenities that are great. Especially for skiers, there is a place to leave skis, poles & boots and they wipe them down & warm the boots. Every staff member we met was extremely helpful and nice. We will definitely stay here again. Only negative our trip is the gondola was not running, but this is a Beaver Creek ammenity, not the hotel. The hotel shuttle worked great and/or the bus stop is across the street.

We stayed in the Westin Villas (next door to the Westin Hotel) which are more like beautiful, well-appointed condos. Big kitchen with granite countertops, large living room, and very large bathroom (with a walk-in marble shower). It was so amazing that from now on, instead of staying inside the Westin in their hotel rooms, we will stay in the Westin Villas. You have all of the amenities of the hotel (gym, spa, parking, restaurants, etc.) but with what is essentially a very large suite for the price of a hotel room.

The property is totally first class in every way. The Maya Restaurant, the gym, pool and hot tubs were favorites! Room was huge and beautiful.

The only “dislike” was that our room wasn’t handicapped accessible and when I booked our room this was not advertised. I would prefer to have known or had a standard room. I will probably not book through VRBO again if it is nonrefundable. This was known when I booked however I had a medical situation come up two weeks prior to our vacation and we didn’t think we were going to be able to make it. I tried calling the number on my reservation and it said it was no longer a working number. This was disappointing. Thankfully we were able to go on vacation but I will only book trips with insurance or one that gives me options in case of a similar type situation.

The property is beautiful. Every single employee we encountered was knowledgeable professional and extremely likable.

The room was great, only complaint was the staff refusal to take bags to the room since it was after hours. I also found the food and service to be lacking during our breakfast. For $70 a breakfast for 2 should be outstanding. The food was ok and the server appeared under the influence of something.

Everything was great and having the Gondala right there was a treat. Basically ski in/out.
