Beachside Motel

Staff was very nice. Stayed 5 days in balcony room. No microwave, definitely a motel as listed. Small and kinda cramped for a family of 5. Bathroom is very small. Knees touch door if using restroom. Ac worked great, beds were comfortable. Did kill some bugs but staff was very concerned when I told them. (Cockroach and spider). I would stay again if I can find a better price than $1500.

Beachside Motel is just simply awesome. The rooms are clean, updated with great beds and bedding and the rooms smell clean when you walk in. It is super close to the beach and the pool by the beach is awesome too. Fresh coffee in the lobby with snacks is nice too. We will definitely return. A hidden gem in the heart of Amelia Island !!

They put handicap people upstairs .would not accommodate i needs I will never stay there again

We have stayed at many different places over the last 25 years and this is our favorite. First time and it will not be the last. Everything was Perfect and everyone was So friendly and helpful.

We will be back next year! Beachside was perfect for our family of 3! Easy access to the beach, a relaxing pool, and restaurants close by! The ONLY improvement I could come up with is the curtains…the sun peeked through the top of the curtain EARLY! LOL! We didn’t need an alarm clock! The staff were AMAZING! Super friendly and helpful and answered ALL my travel questions!!

This was such a quiet and friendly place to stay. Right on the beach with a nice pool. The price was great too

The room was perfect and it was just a very very short walk to the beach. I’m right across the street from the hotel was an amazing restaurant so many things that I love were right all together.

Property was clean and convenient to the beach.

Our first time in Fernandina Beach and not sure where to stay and first stop TripAdvisor for unbiased reviews from fellow travelers.Always try and stay on the beach for the convenience and of course comes with a higher room rate. No one wants to spend a fortune for a hotel room but also does not want to stay in some dumpy place.A friend mentioned Beachside Motel and reviews on TripAdvisor were favorable and we went ahead and booked 3 nights coming from Long Island and reading reviews and seeing photos is good but you never know until you get there.Beachside Motel is old school motel that is updated and for me personally cleanliness is of upmost importance and Beachside Motel is very clean and something big name hotels are providing less and less is daily housekeeping and Beachside housekeeping was there everyday doing a great job and being on the beach sand winds up everywhere.The internet at times would knock you off but you were able to get back on.Although we did not use the pool we did go out and sit by the pool which was nice.Some of the guests I assume local or somewhat in the drivable range had their own chairs for the beach and although you could sign out beach towels which was nice no where could you rent any kind of chair which would have been huge plus as my wife is handicapped and I’m in my sixties and sitting on a towel is good for some but for us not so much we stayed about 1/2 hour as it was getting uncomfortable even a basic folding chair would have kept us there probably a few hours. Beachside Motel clean,staff friendly,rates are fair and location is great if you want to be on the beach.Would I stay here again yes and would I recommend to family and friends absolutely.
