The Corus Hotel

the hotel is quite bad, not to mention the bed... it sucked big time. I also found TICKS on the couch.. service too is pretty bad... they missed my reservation and I had to provide proof of it... very poor experience

Wir hatten das selbe Zimmer wie im letzten August. Teil des Vorhangs hängt immer noch aus der Schiene. Die gleichen (Blut) Flecken an die Wand. Wegen Wasserrohr Problem in einen anderen Raum mussten wir das Zimmer wechseln das kleiner war und ohne richtiges Fenster.

Loved this hotel. Staff very friendly and take care of yours every little thing.The service was superb, the rooms were nice and well maintained with basic facilities.

This hotel was really fantastic.There rooms were well maintain . Their staff was very polite and helpful. Service was exceptional. Check in and Check out was smooth.

The hotel was a little difficult to find as it only has a door on the ground floor, the rest of the hotel is on upper floors. My room was a little cramped, but OK. I was disappointed that I was not given fresh towels and there was no toilet paper. The most annoying thing was that within minutes of arriving one of the front desk managers tried to hard-sell me a tour. When I explained that I had already booked a tour he then tried to convince me that the tour I had already booked was no good and insisted that he take me to a government tourist office who tried to sell me a much more expensive trip. When I declined he was a little rude. The tour I booked was excellent and a quarter of the cost of the one the hotel was trying to sell me. I did not feel that this hotel was value for money - in fact it was very expensive for the quality of the room and service I received. I would not stay here again.

ein Geldschein das ich beim Geldwechseln am Flughafen bekommen hatte, war eine kleine Ecke heraus geschnitten. Dieser Schein wollte das Hotel nicht akzeptieren und ich solle zur Bank gehen und umtauschen. Als Gast und Tourist und eher fremd in Delhi denke ich dass die Banknote hätte angenommen werden und dass jemand von der Buchehaltung selber zur Bank hätte gehen sollen. Ich hatte das Hotel Taxi für den Flughafen bestellt das nicht kam...!!!!

I was asked to pay for extra bed when this was already covered under the contract. The staff asked to pay Rs 70 for ice after serving lukewarm water on a hot summer afternoon

We only stayed for a night before leaving Delhi for Agra. It was an ok stay, especially consideringthe price and location of the hotel. There is one big problem though and that is when they say they have a guy to help you with train arrangements. DO NOT trust them if you want train tickets, just head to the international tourist bureau INSIDE Delhi Railway Station which is around a 30min walk from the Corus. Apart from that and the bathroom was damp it was a good stay.

We arrived at the Corus late at night after almost 24 hours travel. We had booked a deluxe king room. When we arrived we were put in a tiny room with a small double bed and an ensuite you could barely move in. We were too tired to request moving that night as we also had an early start the following day. We slept on our beach towels as the bed linen was not clean and also filled with little hairs. I'm so glad we packed them! We requested to be moved to our king room the following day. After a lot of discussions amongst themselves (that we couldn't understand) they reluctantly moved us. The new room had the larger bed and a larger ensuite but the bed linen and ensuite cleanliness were still bad. When paying our bill they were adamant that both rooms were under the same classification/price structure and would not budge on the price of the first room we were given. The hotel organised a driver/tour guide for us on one of the days who was excellent, but it seems you get this same service at all other hotels. The hotel is near the metro but we didn't end up needing to use the metro at all. Looking back, the location for our accommodation was not important as we found the way to see the most in a short space of time was to hire a driver/tour guide. It's cheap and you see more. The breakfast was very average compared to other hotels we stayed at for the same or a better price. Overall, this hotel was extremely overpriced for the quality.
