Courtyard by Marriott Flagstaff

The room, lobby, and grounds around the hotel were so nice that I wish I had more time to enjoy them. The bench in the shower, the showerhead, and the choice and size of the shampoo, conditioner and body wash were nice additions. The swimming pool was nice and warm. We had dinner both nights next to the firepit.

After a long day hiking a soak in a hot tub would've been nice as well as a microwave in the room.

Hello, I’m writing to share concerns about my recent stay at Courtyard by Marriott Flagstaff. My reservation was for check-in on February 14 and check-out on February 16. Unfortunately, the experience was not acceptable: Late-night disruption: During the night, there was a false alarm for about five minutes, and after the alarm ended there was continued disruption and loud activity in/around the lobby for close to an hour. It was around 2:30–3:00 a.m., and it made it very difficult to rest. Impact on my family: My wife is 6.5 months pregnant, and the alarm and the continued movement/noise in the lobby really upset her. She became scared and nervous and was unable to sleep for the entire night. If needed, I can provide proof of pregnancy. Housekeeping issue: The next day, housekeeping did not service my room, and the room was left in a very messy condition. Checkout interaction: At checkout, I spoke with a front desk associate named Brandon to request compensation for the issues above. He immediately said I could not be compensated because I’m “not a Bonvoy member,” which is incorrect. I am a Bonvoy member and asked him to verify my account (email: basit4472@gmail.com). His tone and response were rude and dismissive, and the conversation ended with him handing me a card and saying he did not want to talk further. I’m not writing to escalate unnecessarily, but the combination of the overnight disturbance, the housekeeping failure, and the way this was handled at checkout was extremely disappointing—especially since my family/cousins who were also staying at the property were offered compensation for similar issues. Request: I would like to request a refund/compensation for at least one night due to the disruption and lack of service, and I’d appreciate your review of how the checkout interaction was handled. Please let me know the best next step and what information you need from me (reservation number, dates, etc.). Thank you for your time

Such a cool hotel. Probably the best all around staff, especially the Welcome Desk, in my 150+ stays with Marriott in the past year. Shout out to Brandon for for being super cool in going above and beyond without pause. All around an easy 10/10.
