Staybridge Suites West Fort Worth by IHG

Breakfast was good, nice variety. In room kitchen was very convienient . Location was good for us to be close to family.

The pool had alot of leaves & things floating around. Was told the pool cleaners were coming. No one came. We even asked if we could use a net to help clean and someone came out to look but couldn't find one.

The hotel was conveniently located to the venue I needed to be at for an event. The front-desk staff were very friendly, helpful, and alert. The property itself was average and I did not get to use the amenities. The room I was put in was not cleaned properly (hair throughout the bathroom and on the towel) and the A/C was not working properly (stayed at 80-81 degrees the entire stay in the Texas summer).

Good location to food and big chain stores like Walmart. Right off highway. Nice community space. Breakfast is chaotic with no place to sit.

Woman who checked us in on first day and was always there at night always acted so stressed out, though we could never understand it. Definitely not a people person as she could not multi-task one bit which made things uncomfortable for everyone. Woman who ran breakfast was extremely rude to people if they asked her questions. I asked for more cream which had run out, and she was also rude to me, making snotty remarks. There was some kind of constant water leak in front of elevator, so they stuck a big bucket right there, which seemed like a big safety hazard. Wished they could have put out 24-hour coffee as it was only out for breakfast. First morning, the decaf was cold in the pot. When I complained to same morning breakfast lady, she told me she was not making more in a very nasty tone. She then said I could always make some in our room. Parking is inadequate and rediculous in front of hotel. Overall, the building is obviously old and run down. The air conditioner ran constantly because our thermostat was not showing any numbers so obviously broke. Would definitely NOT recommend this hotel. We only chose it because of its proximity of basketball tournament that our grandson was playing in.

Our bed was comfortable, kitchen had what we needed.

The air Conditioner unit in the bedroom was so loud we could not leave it on while sleeping. Luckily it was still cool enough we didn't need it at night.

Good place to stay for the areas we visited. On average 10 to 30 minutes from most Fort Worth tourist attractions. Staff was attentive. Breakfast was better than most. Cook top inside the suite did not work, and pool area was subpar, but otherwise, A nice hotel
