Holiday Inn Hotel & Suites Lima by IHG

The #1 reason for staying here. They advertised having a pool. We couldn't wait to swim after 12hrs of work. Get to the hotel, and the pool is closed 😡. Immediately just wanted to leave. But we stayed. I walked into my room to find the carpet in terrible condition. The window absolutely filthy with greasy hand prints. Take a shower to find a slow drain, in five mints the water was almost to my calfs. I could swim in the pool, but another few minutes in the shower, could have taken a dip in the tub. The only positive to the stay was the guy at the front desk.. We called to request someone enter our room to make sure the AC was set. He went above and beyond to accommodate our request.

Check in was at 3 and our room was not ready until 5. There was one towel in our room, no tissues, no sugar or cream for morning coffee. Shower head had two streams of the Luke warm water at 6:00 am in the morning. It appeared there were two spots of blood on the wall beside the head board. Worst Holiday Inn I have ever stayed at.

A special review for the front desk lady Emily.! She was the sweetest and really looked out for my family and I while we stayed and everytime we have stayed.! Love the hotel and the staff members . They all the way around helped make our stay amazing.!

I don’t really like making bad reviews, I feel bad when I do but this was particularly very hard. I’m an Ohio born and raised & reside in California now because of the military; I came down for a funeral of my niece who passed over the last weekend in August. I booked through a military service website & the great reviews were really promising. My issues: Toilet Tank is leaking into the floor Black Mold present shower ceiling Bathtub is clogged and collects water Stained sheets and pillows Strange hair clippings all over the beds Walls are filthy and filled with a jam like pasty substance? (Poptart??) Door cosmetics are chipped Carpet staining is prevalent on all floors including room Place cards & advertisements in room are sticky or dirty Ice tray & coffee bar; as well as fridge are dirty with crumbs. Pros: Front desk is quick to fix and understanding, they switched my bedsheets out immediately as soon as I called. As for the rest, I am unfortunately not in the mental state to really care as I am mourning, but it’s important that this review is to give understanding to take care of the health of the building for people who need it when all else is not ok.

Room was not ready for us. We needed to get dressed for a wedding. When we finally got into the room it was filthy. We only had 1 towel and only 1 pillow. The front desk staff was kind and were working very hard. But the cleaning staff needs to be reevaluated.

This hotel was okay. The room was spacious and the bed comfortable. The issue was there was no toilet paper and only one set of towels. When I went to the front desk they were polite and gave me another set of towels and toilet paper but they were out of tissue paper. They said the hotel is short on towels. A hotel of this size should not be short on towels or tissue paper. And the cleaning staff should know people use toilet paper. Other than these issues, my stay was okay.
