Fridays Boracay Resort

Overall, we enjoyed our stay at Friday's. I've categorized them between the pros & cons below. PROS: AMAZING customer service no matter where we were in the resort (restaurant, beachfront, front desk, cleaning staff, security, etc), great breakfast (the smoothies were SO good and super fresh), our room had direct access to the beach. CONS: rooms need some updating, there was construction when we were there so no pool access and it was loud during the day (when we and the baby were napping), the restaurant menu was the same all day long (even though it was somewhat extensive), it was a little far from the main strip of town (D-mall) but a quick and cheap tricycle ride away. Overall we would definitely go back again!

We had a truly wonderful stay at Fridays. The location is absolutely perfect, ideal location on the quieter end of Boracay with one of the best beaches in the world. Food was superb with a good selection of local, spanish, Italian and western flavours. The included breakfast was one of the best on offer. The staff, where to begin! They make you feel special! Nothing is too much trouble, they're friendly, like to laugh with you and offer advise on activities and what not to do when asked. No pressure sales etc. The room was spacious, comfortable and well maintained. With sand right to your door and a short stroll to the restaurant, bar and that beautiful beach. There was / is a land dispute in progress which saw fences splitting the resort, construction noise was minimal and caused little impact. Lets hope this is resolved quickly so the resort can return to it's full potential. Definitely will stay here again and recommend to all my friends. Thank you Fridays for a wonderful romantic experience.

Expensive for what it is but couldn't ask for a better location.

We have a great time in Friday's Boracay. They keep very clean and tidy the part of the beach in front of the hotel.

checking in was smooth ,rooms were spacious and always clean, breakfast wasn't the greatest, happy hour was always good value, dinner/culture night was overpriced, resort meals were ok except we had a hamburger for lunch and the pat tie was half cooked not good for high end accomodation, room tarrif was a little over priced but for us the quitter location was the key and it has a nice clean beach out the front of the resort.

service is best here in Fridays,everybody here are so friendly. location is on the quiet end of station 1,not very convenient if u like to be close to actions,but actually not too far 15 mins walking to D mall. beach is cleanest here, property also cute with bamboo hut. but bed need to upgrade,not very comfy. overall very good.

Room very outdated and needs work. Good a little to expensive to.

The staff are all very helpful and friendly. The beach in front of resort is always kept clean unlike the beach at station 2 area where seaweed and trash can been seen on the beach. Breakfast is great too, I enjoyed the various breakfasts sets (American, Japanese, Filipino, Korean etc). However, the room needs some refurnishment, it looks tired and outdated. Sometimes, ants and mosquitoes can be seen in the room.

We spent 5 outstanding nights at Friday's and loved every minute of it. Amazing location. Ambience was superb for a very relaxing stay. The style and setting of the accommodation reflected the island of Boracay and pleased not to be in a "cool chic building" which probably better suited to urban locations. Excellent food and all prices reasonable for hotel of this quality. Spa treatments also excellent. Hope we can return soon but next time for longer

This was my first stay at Fridays, although i have been to Boracay several times. I could not have been happier with the choice. Accommodations are mostly in 2-3 room 2-story structures -- designed to look native construction (lots of wood details and decks, thatch roof, etc.), but are fully modern rooms. The rooms are a little spartan compared, say, to ShangriLa, but they have all the amenities of a 5-star hotel (mini bar, quality linens, good beds, etc.), and they are well maintained and spotless clean. Nice mix of hotel guests -- a lot of couples from there 30s to their 60s, as well as a number of families on holiday -- and i got the feeling that a number were regular repeat visitors. And this hotel has a real "resort" feel to it -- they have a number of activities, meals, and events sponsored for the hotel guests. Solid kitchen and a nice comfortable bar. And as noted in other reviews, the staff is really good. It is 5-7 minutes by trike and a nice 20 minute beachwalk by foot to "downtown" boracay (D'Mall, and Station 2) from Fridays -- which I appreciated but might not work for those looking to be in the heart of the bars and restaurants. It directly faces the excellent White Beach, w/ great swimming. Finally, they have excellent shuttle service to/from Catlican Airport which, except for tips, seems to be included in the rates. The only downside was the construction next door -- pretty steady racket during during the day. Not sure how long it will go on.
