Hampton Inn Presque Isle

During a construction there was also all the mattresses out of several rooms furniture dressers TVs construction equipment all up and down the hallways and in front of the elevator as well as the workers were also appeared to be staying on the same floor as they put us. This was a room when I booked online that they gave to us as their pic didn't say that there was construction going on on that particular floor but yet they put us on the floor after further looking around the hotel we did notice that there are other floors that we could have been put on but we had already unpacked and didn't want to bother.. this was also our third time staying there we have never had a problem before. The workers were obviously using big U-Haul trucks that were blocking cars and in the back parking lot we were actually blocked in once they had to come out and move the truck so we could get around it very inconvenience

When we arrived at the hotel the person working the desk was not friendly at all. She proceeded to tell us we did not have a reservation when we actually did. My husband showed her the email confirmation and she said they do not send emails and that we did not have a reservation. She did not try to offer a solution, just stood there while we tried to find more evidence on our end. In the mean time I got in contact with a very helpful representative from Hotels.com who said they would call the receptionist and be sure to get us a room. The phone at the desk rang and she ignored it. I had to ask her to answer the phone and informed her that the call was most likely from someone who would straighten everything out. She rolled her eyes and answered the phone. She continued to say "ok, ok, oh I guess I didn't look there, now I see it." She then told us our room number and that was it. No apology, no additional hotel information (breakfast, check-out, etc.). The customer service from Hotels.com was amazing!! Super helpful and so quick to fix our situation.

One of the beds was loud sounded like it was broken and the room seemed cold and struggled to get the room warm

What a great hotel in Presque Isle. The nicest Hampton Inn I've stayed at--new(ish), super clean, and with a very kind staff who went above and beyond to help us out when our daughter became ill during our stay. The breakfast was very nice as well, and the pool, though small, kept the kids entertained for hours. I've already booked a return visit to this beautiful part of Maine.

We had a great 3 day stay. The rooms are quiet and well cleaned. Would stay here again and it is pet friendly.

Super clean & super comfy. Hampton inn is my favorite. Just can’t always afford it.
