Cavalieri Hotel

Very well located. Right near the seafront and very close to the old town. The staff were exceptional. Rooms were comfortable and tastefully decorated. This is an “old world” hotel which retained many of its earlier splendor. This makes it a very romantic destination. The Rooftop restaurant was wonderful.

I think the bathrooms can do with a bit of a revamp.

A hotel built in 1859 that still feels like it was designed by someone who understood the assignment: timeless elegance, panoramic views, and that rare feeling of being suspended between history and beauty. The views from the rooms are breathtaking sunsets over Corfu Old Town, terracotta rooftops, yachts gliding into the harbor, and church bells that somehow make time slow down. It honestly feels like you’re watching a live painting from every angle. The rooms are spacious, clean, and filled with natural light through large windows and balcony doors that open Corfu straight into your soul. Everything feels intentional, calm, and quietly luxurious without trying too hard. Dinner with a view it’s an experience. You don’t rush it. You sit. You stare. You forget your problems temporarily. Perfect location for exploring Corfu Old Town, yet still peaceful enough to feel like an escape above the world. Would I return? Absolutely. Preferably with more time, fewer distractions, and a longer sunset.

We wished breakfast had also been served on the rooftop to enjoy those incredible views in the morning, and that access to the best seating/view angles wasn’t dependent on an additional charge or booking ahead.

The hotel is in a great location. The superior room is truly spacious even for three people (with an extra bed). The breakfast is plentiful and the staff are friendly.The room is always clean and tidy when we arrive.the Old Town is within walking distance and the small beach is across the street.

The bad wasn’t firm enough for me.For breakfast, the only gluten free option was bread;there wasn’t muesli or oatmeal.

Sehr zentrale Lage gegenüber der Burg und kurzer Weg in die Altstadt Wir hatten einen seitlichen Blick auf das Meer. Von der Dachterasse (Mitte Mai leider zu kalt für einen längeren Aufenthalt) en hat man einen phantastischen Ausblick auf die Burg. Reichaltiges und leckeres Frühstück. Wir waren für eine Nacht vor unserem Segeltörn im Hotel - für diesen Zweck sehr gut geeignet,

Das Zimmer und das Bad sind leider etwas in die Jahre gekommen und bräuchten mal wieder ein "refit".

Chambre au 5ème étage bien mais jusqu'à 1h du matin le bruit venant du roof bar très désagréable (bruits de déplacement des chaises et tables )

Room was unique due to the historic nature of the hotel. Location was very close by to everything that I was looking for (shopping, dining, landmarks)

I did not realize the room was two levels so going up and down the steep stairs to the washroom wasn't ideal, but I was only there for one night so it was fine.
