Snoozles Quay Street Tourist Hostel

It's not luxury, but for the price it was as expected. The location was great, and the service was really nice.

I'm an American solo traveler and I had some trepidation about staying in a hostel, but Barnacles exceeded my expectations. I had a single room with a private bath and that was perfect for my short-term stay. The room had a bed, wardrobe, and chair. The bed was wide & comfy and the comforter was clean and warm during the rainy night. The bath was very spacious with fairly good lighting. American guests should know that the shower spray is timed. If you need more water, you need to keep pushing the button. Very clever water conservation!

Possibly the best place to get black out drunk and still wake up in your bed in the morning.

Traveling with my daughter and we stumbled upon Barnacles. The location is fantastic--right on Shop Street--and the facilities are clean and comfortable. The staff is attentive and helpful and the continental breakfast was appreciated. This is a great place to stay and make new friends and memories!

Right in the middle of the action. Kind of loud but it was great for what we needed.

We enjoyed our stay at Barnacles. A relaxed and fun place with great staff . Situated close to pubs shop s and restaurants but not noisy in room. Would happily recommend.

This place is right in the middle of where you want to be. Really fun area.

The location couldn't be better (right around all the pubs, restaurants in the town center) and the people were nice. But otherwise, don't expect much: shower was lukewarm at best (most of the time just cold), our double room was very small (just one bed: we couldn't even be up at the same time), quite cold and poorly insulated.

It was very good.

I had a great time staying at the Barnacle- Galway! It was close to everything I wanted to do, they were welcoming and helpful with our itinerary which mostly consisted of shopping and pub crawls. Great craic! Will stay there again next time.
