Sonesta Inn

This is a very good resort hotel with best swimming pool (both for kids and adults separate) with rooms surrounding like condominium style. Few are pool facing with balcony and few are otherside/outside facing of the hotel. All rooms are very new and clean and high quality finish and decorative in style and very comfortable with large size bed and cushion. Room service is faster for food ordering or any other service. Breakfast is simply good. it has got continental, 1 north items like paratha and 1 south item like dosa and both type of coffee and tea of international and indian style. They hotel host 70% foreigners and 30% Indians at the time we were there during Christmas 2014. Hotel rates are on little higher side due to christmas season, but rest of the places in Goa as well the same. The beach is 100 to 200 ft away from the back yard of the hotel. walkable with less than 5 mins time. and also walk-able in night as they put lights through out the walking area. On reaching the beach you have lots of beach side shaggy and restaurants. The condolim beach is very clean with decent crowd of foreigners and decent Indian families around. Very peaceful, quite, and enjoying all the time. All restaurants host music , lights , playing billiards/snooker, candle light dinner in sand beach with both veg, non veg and drinks. Pretty good and decent place to spend with value for money. Make sure to ask for rooms facing poolside.. May be they don't allocate it easily.

This vacation with stay at Sonesta was brilliant. The Hotel is best value for the money you pay. The Hotel is at best location in North Goa with its backyard leading to the beach.

Pleasurable..... this hotel is located bang on the beach....infact even if you have booked 5star hotels in nearby still most of them don't have access to the beach.... this one has....big thumbs up....!!

Booked it on long weekend . Goa was full. Paid more than it usually cost but I guess long weekends are expensive . It was blessing the property is bit away from the main road about 500 m and had private beach access since anything on the main road was noisy .Nothing spectacular about the hotel .decent big rooms , good Aircon , and decent housekeeping . Overall a good option for families with children who want a big beds , big rooms to keep the bags , decent pool and private access to the beach .

Great location, next to beach. Good suite. Food was average but ok. Reception staffs could have been more approchable and customer centric. They appeared as if least bothered. I mean i missed the warmth in them, this is meant only for reception staffs. Candolim beach is a minute walk through a narrow stretch and the first view of the sea is amazing.

very disappointing have to change rooms twice for two consecutive nights specially at mid night because of thousands of flying ants room # was 105

Smooth check-in. Requests adhered to for most requirements. Great staff. Excellent swimming pool. Not a very good spa. Our Shirodhara sessions were unsatisfactory. Need to maintain better cleanliness in Spa. Close to the beach.Food was good though the breakfast quality needs slight improvement. Parking is an issue. Vegetarians have very limited choices but that is true through out Goa.We enjoyed the overall experience. Will not hesitate to recommend this and Expedia is a good site to book these hotels. Lastly we were shocked that the hotel did not have channels that broadcasted World Cup Football. We thought Goa was Football crazy.

Nice location ,walkable distance to a calm and clean beach. Stay was pleasant with a pool facing room.we were given a make shift room as well until check in time. Staff were extremely pleasant and ready to help. Pool is clean and well taken care of. Spa was a good experience and provide both for men and women. Renting a car or bike is also available just outside hotel.Although there were families next to our room,they constantly kept making noise or spoke loudly middle of night.it was a huge nuisance and disturbance. It would be nice if hotel authorities could keep a check once or twice after 11pm. I will strongly recommend hotel to friends.

Sonesta Inn is an oasis of tranquility located well off the main road to avoid noise but short enough to walk up to get a bus or walk into Candolim. The beach is a 100m walk through the hotel garden so very convenient. There is a decent size pool and ample sun beds looked after by an attendant. The staff are fantastic and very attentive, they couldn't do enough for us, the rooms are spacious, well laid out and very comfortable, we stayed in a Luxury Room, it was great with a balcony overlooking to pool.
