USWe booked this property for a long weekend in Fredericksburg. Overall, our stay was fine. We had no major issues. Check-in for us was seamless, as I had booked through Booking.com so it was pre-paid. The room was fairly large as there was a bathroom with bath/shower, sink, toilet all in one to the left. There was a sitting area with a dresser that had a TV and single serve coffee maker. Then there was a bedroom that had an option to close off the two areas. The bedroom had a closet, TV and nightstands on both sides. Others have commented on this, but I'd agree that the carpeting was very worn and outdated both in the room and throughout the hotel. The things I really liked about this property were: • Hot, buffet style was included • Location was just two or three blocks off Main St., so very convenient, without appearing congested. The 290 bus has its drop off/pickup in the upper parking lot but I never had a problem finding a parking space. We had a couple of issues during our stay. The coffee maker didn't work (yes, it was plugged in and did power on for a second) and one of the TV remotes didn't work. I did not call and report it, so the staff did not have a chance to remedy. I just made due. I would put this on the same level as an older Hampton Inn or Fairfield Inn.
