"I would not stay at Holiday Inn Express based on our experience this past weekend!!"

I thought the breakfast was ok but was so put off by the pool and hot tub being green and unattended that the breakfast could have been all that and a bag of chips and it wouldn’t have mattered because that’s not why I booked the place!! I booked because the pictures showed a really nice pool and hot tub which neither were available!! I don’t think I will ever book another Holiday Inn Express because of the bad experience that we had this weekend!! Also I would like to mention that the staff Bree who was amazing, upgraded us to a nicer room because they were over booked and they didn’t have a room available at 7:30. She upgraded us to a King suite only to find out once we got to our room that the toilet didn’t flush. The manager (not Bree) told her that she should have made us wait until a room was available even though check in was 3pm it was 7:30pm. The manager didn’t even want to refund our money, what kind of hospitality management is that!! I think I would book Motel 6 before I book Holiday Inn Express. The manager did not even stay to make sure our money was refunded before leaving to go home!!

"Convenient, good food, excellent customer service, plenty of parking…worth every penny"

Help was always available, I forgot to bring deodorant so I went down to buy some and realized they didn’t have any for sale and the front desk lady said they had travel size available for free! So nice and not unexpected convenience. They made cookies and popcorn at the end of the day free of charge!

The third floor hallway was hot I’m not sure why but my room was perfectly cold just how I like it
