Topaz Lodge

The Topaz lodge is misleading as to location. They are incorporated location with no post office therefore using a different town location. They were actually 20 miles away from where advertised. The lodge was very run down and dirty. We did not stay there.

Photos show swimming pool full of water. Pool was actually filled in with sand a few years ago. i had called a few days before check in to request a room with "NO STAIRS" and left a number to call back with confirmation. Never received a call. Questioned why we didn't receive a call back and gentleman as very rude. stating it was the morning staffs job to check messages. Our rooms were not cleaned and towels/ toiletries replaced as scheduled. We called the front desk and the same gentleman said he would take care of it. 3 hours later we had to make another call and a female answered apologizing i was not taken care of and we were then serviced with towels within 10 minutes. The gentleman working the counter is not a prime candidate for handling customer service and should be replaced.

Excellent location. Perfect lake view.

Fun older place. Great friendly staff, good food big plates relatively inexpensive. Rooms decent for old motel type. Bathrooms leave much to be desired.

Convenience to great restaurant. Beautiful views.👍 Convenience to Casino. Choice of machines Access to gas/ market Play area for children Pet area includes a hydrant👍 Two shady, grassy areas for use. The staff is awesome ALWAYS!

Rooms are clean, the restaurant has good service and food. The bartender who served us on the Fourth of July was really nice. My experience here for the second time was just as good as my first time.
