Areti Hotel

I spent 5 days at the Areti and absolutely loved it. It's super quiet, hidden in the hills outside Chania (it's well signposted from the main road). The pool is huge and clean, people were very friendly and chatty. My room was on the ground floor with a view of the sea (13): large, comfortable, kitchen corner with dinner table and a balcony. The staff is very friendly and unobtrusive. This is excellent value for money and I highly recommend it!

Hotel was a beautiful place to stay great views pool was nice great breakfast . Staff was friendly . There was an extra. charge to use the Aircondition which was 5.00 euros per day and the place takes 2 air conditioners one in the kitchen area and one in the bedroom this was the only hotel that charged for Airconditioning throughout my whole trip

I cannot fault this hotel in any way. We arrived late and were welcomed by the proprietor, who had sent use details of how to get there in advance. Very comfortable and large beds, perhaps a bit hard for some people. Excellent breakfast, lovely pool, good sized, clean rooms. We needed to get up very early one day, and we were allowed to take breakfast items the previous day to keep in our fridge. Perhaps the best thing is the hotel's locations, some 10km outside of Chania Town in a little village with 2 or 3 authentic tavernas. The views from the hotel are stunning. But make sure you have a hire car!

Great place to relax in lovely surroundings and close enough to a traditional Cretan village to get into the swing of our holiday.

Great stay. Staff was excellent and inviting. Awesome view of Souda Bay, , Aptera ruins 2km away, perfect beaches anywhere from 15-60 minutes away. Beds were hard with springs, bathroom floor flooded often during shower. These were the only issues. Great stay none the less

We stayed 10 days, two adults and a child of 11 years. Hotel provides a peaceful and relaxing setting for a holiday. The pool is clean and deck chairs are comfortable, the food monotonous but good. Hosts pleasant and unobtrusive. Guests also.

Very charming hotel. Family run and friendly. Relaxing pool area with bar. Great for families to come back to after touring ... Fantastic breakfast. Atmospheric lounge area.

small peak of paradise! Beautiful hotel, incredible view of the water the & scenery.... family run and operated, and everyone extremely kind and welcoming! Pool bar and restaurant (with the most amazing Greek food) on premises. Great place to stay to have an awesome summer stay... So happy I found Areti Hotel... We will definately stay there again!

As we had to eave earlier, the owner Family was so nice to prepare an early breakfast. Very nice persons, good stay, nice pool, perfect view, best taverna close to hotel in the small village. I would say: a fanstastic experience

Rarely have I stayed in such a wonderful place. The family who own this lovely establishment really go out of their way to make your stay as comfortable as possible. There is a very relaxed feel about the place as a result. Perfect for those who crave a bit of peace and quiet. The breakfast buffet sets you up for the day, filled with lots of healthy/tasty produce from the island. The pool is a dominant feature and it is kept very clean. The rooms are bright and airy and are well equipped. The pictures which advertise the property really are a true reflection of this hidden gem! I would stay here again without a second thought.
