Skyview Manor Motel

This is the worst motel ive ever stayed in my life.. we found a lice on the pillow, sheets were stained the whole room was disgusting. They want to charge almost $400 for a night but but they cant even invest in their own property.. just horrible. Nevrrr everrr stay here…

Pool was nice

Very outdated rooms. Curtains partially hanging and broken. Bathroom needs work. Ceiling looked like it had some mold. Doors really old and not working properly. Shower faucet not working properly. Floors newer - used as a good cover to make room look “ok”. Security guard(s) sucked! Stopped my boys making them feel as though they were up to no good when all they had to do was check with front office as I had listed all their names smh … in and around rooms/facility smelled like weed badly. Check in workers, need customer service training. Washing all my belongings before bringing anything into my house smh

Very disappointed. The room was not maintained, bedspread, flooring and drapes covered in cigarette burns, the tub was crudely painted royal blue, cabinet doors were not attached, frig didn't work. I primarily booked this because of the free parking but found out the first night that the parking area was so tight that parking was impossible. Another guest told me that their car had been damaged when someone backed up into their trunk because the parking lot was too narrow. The evening staff however, was wonderful and helped us locate parking when their lot was inaccessible. Definitely would have been worth spending a little more for a better room.

I liked that it was very close to the boardwalk but I was disappointed with the conditions of the room

The guy at the front desk gave me a paper with a total amount that dint match my booking price. Once in the room, the fridge didn't work. The curtains wouldn't stay closed and the whole one wall is a window. So people can just walk by and watch you sleep. Also my room key opened other rooms, like it was a master key. I only found this out because the guy at the front desk told me a different room number then what was on the key. I ended up walking in on people sleeping in their beds.

We stayed last year and it was night and day! Last year it was clean, quiet and fun. This year it was dirty, run down, looks like the employees all live there. Out room was horrible, the roof was coming down in the bathroom, toilet seat was to small, tub took hours to drain. Tv remote was broken, towels were dirty. Just all and all it was horrible!

There are pros and cons it really depends if your the picky type that would point out every flaw and yes there are many flaws. The bathroom was in rough shape with a tub that was literally painted over in blue paint definitely not pretty but the shower had good hot water. The room was spacious and I like wooden floors you could tell the room floor was mopped but not our bathroom floor that was dirty. The beds are hard the comforter had tears. The walls are not nice it would take a lot of cosmetic work to bring this hotel up to be more modern. The pool is large it’s heated this was our family’s favorite. Parking is tight and they use 3 different areas for parking. It’s in a great location short walk onto boardwalk and beach. Overall we are not picky on looks it for the most part was clean and with a lot of space and the pool and location we would probably stay again.

Tub has NEVER been cleaned. Curtains are in SHREDS, literally falling off and if you try and piece them together just right you get a little bit of privacy. Soda machine empty. Ridiculously tiny parking lot in which my truck got blocked in. Place is a joke, but when you want to stay near seaside boarwalk for less than 300 bucks this is what you get.

People that worked at the hotel were super friendly and the pool was excellent. But overall this place is a dump. Curtains don’t close, paint all over the floor, toilet seat looked 100 years old. Very dirty. Obviously not being maintained very well.
