First Western Inn Caseyville

NOTHING!!!

It needs a complete overhaul! The front panel of the garden pond tub with jets ( which we would not have used to bathe in, let alone sit in, ) was held closed with red caution type tape! The sheets were stained! The carpet stained and dirty. A full size fridge with water standing in the bottom. A stained and damaged ceiling from water damage on the second floor above us. A ceiling fan we would not turn on since it looked like it would fall out of the ceiling, plus the blades were warped and dirty. A bug trap in the corner with dead bugs inside! The room online looked very nice, I do not believe that room exists in this motel!!! There were cigarette burn marks on the sink. We checked for bedbugs and I hope to God there weren’t any!!! We would have told them we wanted our money back and gone somewhere else, but I’m afraid they would have told us we were out of luck. IF we had seen active bugs or bedbugs we would have left! This room was truly disgusting!!!

Was not a good stay

it was so funny that picture that they have on your website does not match at all. That room did not have the extra wall and the couch. But it did have peeling paint which might have been Lead paint, I'm not sure. The walls were old dirty and miss painted. There were holes in the steps that you would walk to to get to your Room. My room was on the second floor, even though all the other rooms were outside. Mine continued into a sort of hallway that concentrated the heat of all the exhaust from air conditioning Blew it on you sort of cooking you on your way to the room. For some crazy reason, there was clear tape stuck to the ceiling and ceiling fan. But it did have a ceiling fan, which is not often something you see.

Staff was exceptionally friendly, helpful, and polite.

Room was absolutely filthy. Carpets were stained and nasty looking, and there was something suspiciously fecal looking smeared in the bathtub.
