First Western Inn Caseyville

Room smelled. The bathroom was dirty and the blankets were old and raggedy.

It as a last minute choice since the original hotel we rented was one of the worse experiences we ever had (Americas Value inn). The hotel is clean but the service was not as good.

The staff were very rude and they were very foeeign. So neither us or them could completely understand each other. The FIRST room we stayed in room 105 had black mold embeded into the wall near the shower, and it was dry rotting. There qas also black mold in the shower and on the shower curtain. The place was dusty and disgusting. We have pictures of when we walked around the room a little bit and within an hour of unpacking they were completely black feom dirt in the carpet. There were holes qnd cracks in the wall everywhere. The shower and sink had a crack. The fridge and freezer were both broken in this room, and there were black and red stains on the carpet. The linnens were also groasly stained and ALL rooms had ciggerette burn holes in the bedding, along with many stains. The dresser and side table drawers were all broken and the bottoms had OLD FOOD CRUMBS. There was no ironong board, iron, OR coffee maker. I had to beg and argue with one of the staff just to get a coffee maker in our toom to make our food and drinks. He was telling me coffee was only available at 'breakfast'. Breakfast my butt...it consisted of a honeybun...if you were lucky to even get that. When i went to talk to a staff memeber to switch rooms because the room was LITERALLY making me sick...think chest pain, hardly able to breathe, asthma, and flu like symptoms...she said we only reveived that room becaise it was the only smoking room available...2nd room had roaches...

Ok room and evrything but waited some time before getting help at check in, also told breakfast was at 7 but nothing was set up even at 730.

Bathtub had previously been a jetted tub. The jets were filthy. The drain was filthy. The filter was filthy. There was a dead fly in the tub also. And a ring around it

Shower curtain had mold on it, lamps and ceiling fans were dusty,mirrors were dirty,and there's an abundance of flies

Unprofessional service. Phone did not work in the room. Lights over beds had no electricity due to no close plug-ins. Advertised free breakfast which occurred only two of four morning. All that was offered was one packaged pastry. Room cleaned once. WiFi intermittent.

Misrepresented morning meal (cheap pastry). Housekeeping not accomplished or poor (incomplete) quality. Room quality poor (broken door lock, other security risks). Smelly, moldy room. Easily hear noise next adjoining rooms. Has to insist on getting zero balance (folio) receipt.
