Close to airport, easy transfer, they a range taxi transfer, rooms are clean, have a fridge in room restaurant has great food and serves beer and cocktails

My wife and I just returned from a three-week birding trip across India. Hotel Shanti Palace was the worst place we stayed at. While the room was comfortable, the food was very bad and gave us concern about getting sick from it. The staff acted put out at the smallest request and hounded us about breakfast payment even though it was included in our group's contract. This was the one exception to the very friendly encounters we had with all Indians throughout our trip.

Clean and comfortable, but thats about all. My room had no windows and was like a tomb. You get what you pay for.

The hotel is much better than many others in Mahipalpur. The room was clean and quiet and the staff were helpful and polite. My single complaint is that soon after checking in, someone called the room and offered a full body massage to my father - there seemed to be other services implied in this offer. This is not appropriate but honestly I'd rather deal with that than the filth of some other Mahipalpur locations.

Worst place to stay and expensive. They don't tell you the exact checkout time nor will they notify you that they will charge extra money and the staff is also rude. I had checked in at 12am and I wasn't told that their timings are from 12pm to 12pm next day. They charged around 5k for 12hrs and another 3k for another 6 hours. Also the restaurant is expensive. Overall worst experience ever.

Room had all the facilities however was too small. Staff was welcoming and friendly.

This was the worst experience a guest could ever have at a hotel. Rooms were in a poor condition and the staff was rude and unhelpful! The staff on duty on the night of 12/3/2023, repeatedly called the room and harassed us. This is not the type of experience you expect at a premium hotel. Highly NOT recommended.
