The location was good and we had a nice pool view. Staff was polite & service was prompt. The rooms were nice and spacious.

The rooms and some common areas are very worn out and run down. Everything that was made of wood looked like it had been painted 20 years ago and was cracking and flaking. The in-house restaurant is more of a room with some tables and chairs thrown in. Breakfast was average but we stopped going because they didn't keep the service door closed hence there were many many files inside. Mind you this was in the middle of the monsoon. One empty table had some 6/7 flies just chilling without any of the staff bothering to keep them out. Also one morning there was a dead fly on the buffet table and a long line of ants along the wall. Again no care or concern about basic cleanliness at breakfast. We also tried to make an appointment at the Spa but over the 5 days we tried to contact the Spa, there was never a therapist available, and the reception was unable to help with the concern. These are some avoidable things they can fix.

I liked the location and ambience. The house keeping staff was cooperative.

Food was totally devastating...all 5 days same Breakfast repeated. Although suggestions were given on first day to change.At night food served in room was cold, and reorder came very late that too not as ordered. After complaining they dodnot even apologise. Even the reception staff named Clerence didn't even try to listen to our complaint regarding staff and food.

The staff were exceptional. Could not do enough for you, I really felt sorry for the staff as they had to deal with a lot of unnecessary demands of some of the local guests….. I could not praise the staff enough, out of all the hotels I stayed in India, the soul vacation staff were the best…. They understood customer service. Negatives. The toaster in the dining room really needs to be replaced. The pool chemical composition needs looking at as it just not right. Otherwise everything was as expected
