Savera Hotel

A shout out to A Azam, bellboy at Savera Hotel, Mylapore, Chennai. He is always smiling, helpful and tries to help everyone especially hotel guests. One thing I noticed on this trip was the receptionists (who check in guests at desk) really talk down to him, wonder why? Is this a hierarchical thing at Savera hotel who don't respect people of lower ranking in job, and they do this in front of me, hotel guests as well. Very sad! I think Azam is great all these years have seen him and he deserves a promotion! I hope he is promoted!

Wonderful place to be there. I had visited for my company work. Extremely satisfied with house keeping staff with the cleanliness that they had maintained in by room. I would like to appreciate Mr. Manik Das & Mr. Khelaram for their excellent service. Thanks

Good hotel.. nice members they clean rooms everyday headed by manik das and sri balaji. All good atmosphere and vibes. Good food

Overall, excellent service. Staff fantastic and courteous. Special mention of Mr praveen Kumar Azah who was extremely helpful in assisting us in everyday whenever needed. His service must be recognised in everyday possible. His manager is V prabhu. Staff like Praveen must be an asset to your establishment. We have en a customer of Savera over 35 years. Had a great week long stay at the Savera Hotel in Chennai. Facilities are ok, but what made the stay feel 5-star was the staff who work there. In particular, Praveen and Prabhu in the housekeeping team were exceptional and made our stay extra comfortable. They were very obliging with providing us with extra amenities that were requested, regularly checking in with us to check if they could provide any additional support and keeping the room stocked and clean. Praveen and Prabhu - thanks for your excellent hospitality!

Decent stay for the price!

Recently stayed at Savera. The rooms are very spacious, but they are quite old fashioned a renovation is definitely needed. The food at their Malgudi restaurant is top notch, with a wide variety on the menu. The beach is located just 2 km from the hotel, making it easily accessible. They provided their own branded sanitary pads during my stay, which came with disposable covers and were comfortable to use, I truly appreciate the thoughtful gesture. Special mention to Arjun from housekeeping he did a fantastic job.Overall, a nice stay in Chennai.

Its location is the main USP

1. Hospitality and cleanliness at the restaurant is the poorest. Requested for an omelette to a lady named Debjani and after waiting for 30 mins I left without having it; Utter ignorance by staff; almost all tables were left uncleaned after guests moved out and when asked to clean they just wiped it with a paper tissue; they don’t have any cleaning kit for the tables where foods are consumed 2. The linen at room is sticking with odour of may be earlier resident user; which means although they look clean they aren’t 3. Basic toilet amenities are missing: I checked in last night with one shampoo dental kit and a hand soap. That’s all they can serve for a working traveller spending less than 12 hours in a room which is charged Rs 5600 for bed and breakfast. 4. AC cannot be controlled and room door lock safety lock is jammed All in all this is perhaps my last stay at SAVERA. At this price other hotels are much better at Chennai
