The apartment was big, spacious and well equipped. The sofa area was comfy. The kitchen had the basics for cooking. The bed was big. The office was very helpful and answered quickly over WhatsApp even on Sundays. Check in and check out was very easy and they send a lot of information about the area and the apartment before arrival.

The apartment was very dark. All furniture is black and the walls are black, also the bathroom. During the day it is okay because of the big window front but in the evening the lights were not bright enough to illuminate the room. To write post cards we had to bring a light to the table. The were a few things broken or slightly damaged when we arrived (e.g. The window blinds were overused and one string broke, the tip of the hair dryer had half molten plastik, the walls had big scratches from moving a mirror that is leaning against it). I send pictures to the office and they apologised for any inconvenience caused and said they will take care of it in the future. The apartment building is in the middle of the pedestrian zone and is right next to a bar we're they have every day life music. We had to park a bit further away to unload the luggage. I the evenings there is loud music from 20:00 - 00:00.

the location, from other reviews it appears there may be other apartments that are much nicer but we did get those ones.

The apartment we were assigned did not reflect any of the photos provided on booking.com. there was possibly maybe one that showed the TV. There were multiple open electrical points, no hot water. The property itself looked severely outdated. We did leave after one night, they did refund us the remaining nights and did offer to fix the no hot water. Also no couch which is very odd . The location itself is good but not for a family due to the live music and continuous people loud on the street but not the properties faults. No parking assigned but street paid parking that was full when we arrived late at night and couldn’t bring luggage all that way.

1) Amazing central location (in the middle of everything) 2) Affordability compared to other apartments in the area.

Biggest minus: street/bar noise until 5:00 in the morning which I knew about from the reviews and the host ahead of time. The apartment comes with ear plugs; however, they don't help. But if you stay in the bedroom away from the main street or from the windows, then it's pretty quiet.

アパートの隣が生バンド演奏のパブで毎日深夜遅くまでお客さんが大騒ぎしてストレスが溜まりまくりでした。 トイレとシャワーが室外だったので不便でした。

I stayed at Mani Apartments and followed their website's explicit parking directions, which stated that free parking was available by Tækniskólinn at Frakkastígur 27, right next to Hallgrímskirkja church. I parked exactly where they instructed — not in the blue (paid) zone they mentioned — and received TWO parking citations totaling $106.78. When I contacted management with photos of the citations, diagrams showing my exact parking location, a Google Street View link, and a screenshot of their own website instructions, they claimed they "couldn't determine the exact location" of my vehicle. That is simply not true — the citations include photos with clear background landmarks, and any local would immediately recognize the spot. To make matters worse, management admitted that it was news to them that this was even a citation zone — and thanked me for informing them. Let that sink in: they've been sending guests to a paid parking zone, didn't know it, and when a guest gets fined for following their own instructions, they still refuse to take any accountability or offer a refund. This is a failure on two levels: (1) their parking instructions are misleading and lead guests directly into a citation zone, and (2) management is unwilling to take responsibility or make it right. Giving guests bad directions and then stonewalling when they get fined is not acceptable hospitality. Stay here if you like, but do NOT rely on their parking guidance — and if something goes wrong, don't expect them to own it.
