The outside looks run down & landscaping, mowing has not been done for a long time. Appears that owner doesn't take any pride in the facilities, in fact I wasn't even sure if it was still open & operating as a hotel. There were rooms on bottom floor that you could see so much stuff piled up in windows, it looked more like a place people were living and hoarding more than it did a hotel. The staircases had not been vacuumed in a long time, front door broken or left ajar. Pool looked like it hadn't been used in years. Place has definitely seen better days.

The room was decently clean. I liked that is had hard surface floors as we had a dog, so I felt it wasnt a room with soiled carpet. The breakfast area was okay, too. The grounds definitely could have some better upkeep. It looked weedy and unmanicured. It also smelled of stale smoke, but I think there were smoking rooms. All in all, it was a decent place to stay at the last minute of the state fair for a not-as-jacked-up price as the more favorable hotels.

Lots of mold on windows and in the shower Very musty a mold smell.

Bed was only a full size; room was very small. Lobby area was dirty; computer check-in system was down when we got there.
