Very beautiful and well maintained property in the center of Platanias (25 mins drive from Chania) with a generous beach front and pool. Lovely owners and staff, very attentive with the guests from every aspect, worth mentioning that there's a focus on quality (didn't expect speciality coffee in a hotel - same with the food from the restaurant, the breakfast is not a buffet). We will return with pleasure when visiting Crete again.

La posizione è molto attraente. La piscina a ridosso della spiaggia un plus. La posizione dell'hotel è strategica per visitare i posti più belli dell'ovest isola.

Assenza di reception per eventuali necessità. Assenza di bidet. Colazione assolutamente inadeguata perchè improntata a gusti nord europei. Pochissima scelta. Cappuccino a pagamento.....

Beautiful grounds, clean rooms, lovely pool and beach area.

Some rooms/suites are very modern while others are more antiquated, but they cost the same price. It seems it's luck of the draw what room you end up with. Overall was very nice.

This was one of the best hotels I have ever stayed in. The atmosphere was very related. The staff were extremely friendly and helpful. The location was fantastic. It was a two-minute walk to all the shops and restaurants on the main street, and an easy drive to get on the major roads to visit Chania or Elafonisos Beach. I would recommend a day trip to Falasarna Beach. Although basic, the hotel's facilities were of a high standard. The rooms were nice and big, with all the facilities you need for self-catering. I thought the pool and beach facilities were exceptional. It has the most amazing pool area with a food and bar area overlooking the beach, which is 50 meters from the pool. I would highly recommend this to couples, families, and individuals who enjoy a quiet relaxed holiday experience.

The gym facilities weren't particularly great. This was more from my son's point of view who likes to work out with a range of heavy weights, and said it was also very hot due to there being minimal air conditioning. I would also not recommend visiting the Elafonisos. We visited and expected to see a crystal clear blue lagoon with pink sand. We did see the crystal clear blue lagoon, but no pink sand alongside what felt like thousands of other people. We were there by 10:00 in the morning and there were no sun loungers available, and it was extremely busy giving the feeling of just being a very tourist attraction. There are many beautiful places and beaches in Crete, but Elafonsis is one I would avoid unless you are going out of peak season maybe.

Lights were too dimmed so it was dark in the room, no coffee or tea in the room, notes about lowering or turning the AC when you were not in the room were everywhere, towels were looking cheap, the beach towels were very old , we were only allowed to change them 3 times in 10 days trip and the bathroom look really dated with no fan. The trash in the kitchen was so tiny Breakfast menu was ok, we just thought it would be more options vs the same menu every day. Also we rented a car through the hotel and we didn’t receive what was promised to us. The car was very dated 2001 model and overpriced. We returned it the second day and rented something else 2024 model for a cheaper price. The location was great and the stuff was friendly and caring.

Nous avons tout aimé c'était top !!! l'emplacement, les appartements de 2 pièces avec grand balcon qui donne sur la piscine et la mer Le petit dej face à la mer : une vue magique tous les matins ! Le personnel toujours a l 'écoute et souriant 😃 😃 Claudia et Orpheas jamais à court de bons conseils et toujours prêts à vous aider ! Proche des commerces et entouré de restaurants tous aussi bons les uns que les autres ! Nous reviendrons sûrement avec des amis !!
