One&Only Reethi Rah

Our first trip to the Maldives was absolutely magical, and OO was the perfect choice. The staff's warmth was incredible, from the manager to the cheerful buggy drivers. We loved all the restaurants, especially Earth (the seafood was perfectly seasoned!) and the stunning Arabic venue. The breakfast mix of à la carte and buffet was brilliant.

this is my 27th trip in the Maldives， I am a diver ，reef quality is very important for my liking， one and only was never on my radar，but partner picked the resort and we came. the biggest impression for this resort is privacy， you would feel alone most time when you walk the resort ，that's something Maldives lacks nowadays， almost all the resorts are packed with villas ​ ​the service is also impeccable， fast buggy response，staff are very eager to help ， special mentioning of Ms Eugene， she has been a very wonderful host during our stay， she provided a level of service that strike a perfect balance between giving guests enough privacy and getting everything done， also our room guy Mr shafeeq is very professional to his word， not just cleaning but attention to detail. ​ ​Dining somewhat didnt meet my expectation though， personally I wouldn't feel a big difference comparing to the 34 resorts I have been to in the Maldives. ​ ​

The resort and the villas are amazing, and all the staff were lovely and really helpful all the time. Even though I was very far from home, they made me feel like I wasn't, feeling all the time that I was in paradise, and the only moment I felt sad was when I was leaving, so I would definitely love to come back!

My experience was 100 % amazing. I was there for my birthday and it was the best birthday ever thanks to one and only team. All the team were so kind especially Mr Mahish was so helpful, he made sure we had the best time and service. I will surely be back

We had such a wonderful trip to the One and Only Rheethi Rah for our 25th wedding anniversary. The resort was stunning and the staff were all very engaging and helpful. The restaurants and the food were amazing, especially Tapasake, Fanditha, and Botanica. We had dinner on our last night in the private treehouse and it was a wonderful way to celebrate our last night. Shout out to our butlers Mahish and Francesca for taking care of all our needs with a smile. They did a fantastic job or orienting us to the island on our arrival. We would also like to thank Chara for taking care of us on our first night dinner at Tapasake, Baiju for making us such great drinks at Botanica, Bifez for taking care of us at the Rheethi pool for two days, and Akram for making our treehouse dinner memorable. We will always recommend this resort to all and hope one day we will be back.

We spent two magical weeks at the One&Only Resort in the Maldives with our family, and it truly was a dream come true. From the moment we arrived, we felt warmly welcomed and completely at ease. The entire experience was flawless. Our children were absolutely thrilled. Especially with the amazing Kids Club. The staff there (and throughout the resort) are exceptional: kind, attentive, and incredibly professional. It’s clear that every detail is designed to make both adults and children feel special and well cared for. The restaurants are world-class. Every meal was a highlight, but the newly renovated Japanese restaurant deserves a special mention. It’s a masterpiece! Stylish, spacious, and architecturally stunning, it offers a dining experience that is as beautiful as it is delicious. We are already looking forward to our next stay and the kids talk non stop about the magical days we were able to spend there. One&Only Reethi Rah is more than just a luxury resort it’s a place where unforgettable memories are made. Truly a dream hotel in every sense. See you soon!

We (family of four with two children aged 14 and 12) stayed at the One&Only Reethi Rah for 12 nights starting from 10 August and had an absolutely fantastic time there. We were helped by the beautiful weather as aside from 10 minutes of rain, it was sunny throughout. The island itself is large and it is very helpful that all villas come with bikes which my wife and daughter in particular made good use of and thoroughly enjoyed. Otherwise, the buggy service is extremely helpful with chauffeured buggies generally being available in less than 5 minutes. The villas are of a good size and beautifully furnished. We had a water villa without swimming pool which was lovely and it was so nice to waking up to the view across the bay/beach each morning. I would say unless you have young children a swimming pool is unnecessary as the sea is easy to access from the villa. There was a great range of restaurants and we very much enjoyed all of them except Botanica which we did get round to trying. Tapasake was just awesome - with delicious food and breathtaking restaurant and bar area. We were on a half board package and so ate at Earth most of the time which had a lovely and varied menu. Aqua and Fire were also great and we got the half board dinner allowance at any restaurant we ate at away from Earth which is the course half board restaurant. It has to be said that food and drink is not cheap (even with the half board package) but if going to a resort as of such high quality in the Maldives that has to be expected and it didn’t lessen our enjoyment. The service around the resort was just incredible - so friendly and attentive and our host Rasheed was just so helpful and made many helpful suggestions. We also really enjoyed the beach club which had a lovely upbeat atmosphere and plenty of activities to enjoy (water sports, table tennis and pool to name a few). We also enjoyed a snorkelling trip to swim with turtles which was just lovely. We will certainly be back in the future - it is a stunning place to go on holiday, whether it’s for a few days or a couple of weeks!

Reethi Rah is hands down the best luxury resort in the Maldives. The island is gorgeous, with picture-perfect beaches, a dreamy spa, tons of fun water sports, and great activities for kids and teens. But what really makes it special is the staff — they’re unbelievably friendly and seem to anticipate every little wish with a smile. And the food? Absolutely outstanding. Tapasake with celebrity chef Jameel is so good it’s worth coming back for every year!

We had excellent experience at Reethi Rah, and probably the most relaxing holiday with kids. Food was great, service was top notch, everything up to and exceeding what you would expect from a luxury resort. Kids were well taken care of with many activities to choose from. Me and my husband had lots of fun on the beach as well. Wish we could go back one day again!

This place is truly very, very special. As soon as you arrive by speedboat, you enter a paradise. If you are in any doubt as to which is the best resort in the Maldives, this is it, as attested by the A list guest list. The service is second to none; nothing is too much trouble and every need is anticipated or taken care of by incredible staff who are all a complete delight and outnumber the guests by some margin. They were particularly lovely with the children. Cycling around the island amongst the fauna and flora is just so beautiful. We love the O&O brand but this is clearly the jewel in the crown. It has everything you could possibly need and more. Many of the guests are very loyal, repeat clientele and we can completely understand why. Special thanks to our host, Hardy, a charming and consummate professional and huge congratulation to Jan and his entire team for creating what must surely be one of the very best resorts in the world.
