Marins Park Hotel Ekaterinburg

Got there early in the morning from the train. Staff confused as to the rate to be paid for early check in as their rate was some 80% more than what I had been quoted by their back room staff by email a few days earlier. Lobby and hotel outside did not prepare us with the shocking finishes and amenities of the room that we were given. It was like going back to what we understand to be the Soviet style hotel with absolutely very poor amenities, despite it being quite clean, and being the most uncomfortable hotel that we stayed in throughout our 5 weeks journey in Russia. Comparatively it was very poor value for money. We were given a 3 single bed room for 2 people and we had to walk sideways past the end of the beds to get to the toilet. The non provision of an air conditioning system was understandable albeit the room was quite warm even with the windows open. On the positive side the hotel is well situated across the train station and the breakfast was adequate.

駅に近い為チェックインしましたが、テレビのアンテナ悪くて見れたり、見れなかったり シャワーから漏れ出た水は床に排水溝がなくてびちょびちょ バーは安いのがいい ビュッフェは毎日一緒の内容 落ち着いて探せばいいのあります 困った時の為のホテルに利用すればいい 街の中心部までは結構歩きます

pleasant stay in marin's park,good staff and excellent location

Did not have room cleaning, though I am fine with that, but I had to ask for the bottled water as no one refilled. Other than that everything is acceptable.

The hotel is located across the square from the train station. This is the best location if you arrive or depart from the city by train. You don't need a map to find it especially if you were tired and need to rest as soon as possible. The hotel building is modernly simple and clean.Overall, it should be rated 4 stars based on my experience.

We had good time here: the rooms are clean (except the pillow and the sheets all together that were having a very bad smell). Not that kind the breakfast staff but it is quite rich and convenient.

Alles soweit ganz gut. Typisch russischer komfort.

Wir hatten ein renoviertes Zimmer gebucht, für das ein geringer Aufpreis verlangt wird. Laut Aussage von anderen Gästen und Einheimischen sind die nicht renovierten Zimmer nicht zu empfehlen. Das Hotel liegt direkt gegenüber am Bahnhof. Wir kamen mit dem Zug aus Sankt Petersburg früh am Morgen um 6:30 Uhr Ortszeit an. Gegen einen wirklich günstigen Aufpreis konnten wir direkt einchecken und dann auch gleich im Hotel frühstücken. Das Hotel macht einen modernen Eindruck. Das Frühstück ist sehr reichhaltig und wirklich gut. Es gibt gute Verkehrsanbindungen mit Tram und Trolleybus. Lediglich zur Metro muss man ca. 10 Minuten laufen.
