"Comfortable but too close to busy highway"

Clean, the bed was comfortable, good water pressure & instantly hot water. There was some interesting history about the property.

The property felt somewhat misrepresented, primarily due to its location next to a busy highway. The constant traffic noise made it difficult to relax and enjoy the outdoor patios. One of the main reasons we chose this property was the advertised water wheel feature, but unfortunately it was not operational and was dry upon arrival. Additionally, the air conditioning unit was quite noisy, which affected our comfort during the stay. Breakfast hours could also be improved, as they currently end too early. Extending service until 10:00 AM would better accommodate guests.

"Very reasonable cost, near many art, music, and performance venues."

It is comfortably small, close to I49, and quiet. Impeccably clean rooms and grounds. Decent breakfast on site. I’ve never looked for vending snack machines, but a 24 hour market is adjacent.

Progress is closing in on this 125+ year old property. A grist mill in an early incarnation, a top restaurant a few decades ago; I fear the widening highways will ruin what I’ve enjoyed.

Nothing about it was appealing.

Room that I picked online was not what we got at all. Size was small and cramped. Water stains on the ceiling showed beams pattern and a water spot. Pictures on website didn't show how close you are to street in front of property. Looked more secluded online.
