Balletti Park Hotel

Posto piacevole appena fuori le mura di S Martino nei vimini.

La struttura è molto grande, sicuramente fanno fatica nella manutenzione ordinaria, tante cose da rivedere. Tutto sommato la piscina non è male, il ristorante annesso con convenzione veramente ottimo. La pulizia delle camere insomma... si potrebbe fare sicuramente meglio. La posizione è ottima perché è a pochi minuti da Viterbo.

We had a 2 night stay at the Balletti Park hotel through the RCI timeshare network. We promptly advised RCI to take this property off of their affiliate list. It is in dire need of some attention. We were greeted very unenthusiastially by the man at the reception desk in the dank and musty smelling lobby. The suede sofas looked circa 1960 and there were dirty espresso cups on one of the coffee tables that could have eben there for days. After the check in process we were given our room keys that could have been used as clubs they were so large and cumbersome. My dad and husband crammed themselves into the TINY elevator which went up to our rooms. Although they were seemingly clean they need a serious facelift: carpet with stains, outdated furniture upholstery with stains, mold on the bathroom caulking, mold on one of the bottles in the mini fridge, water stains on the window curtains...and an ancient tube tv which would not function. It turned on but none of the other buttons worked and we have to unplug it to turn it off. The buffet breakfast was equally disappointing: expired packaged toast, no plates, they had run out of coffee and they replaced it with a carafe of instant coffee. Horrible croissants, warm yogurt...simply not good. I give it a D+ at best.

The management, the staff and the beautiful biking trails make it a go to place for all levels of cycling. Highly recommended. One hour from Rome and very close to Viterbo. One hour from both Orvieto and Civita di Bagnoregia (must go see).

I visited recently and did not stay the night, my son is staying here with a Viterbo sports team, as this is only 10 minutes outside the city. They have rather basic single rooms with bathroom but all is clean and well run. Lunch was also simple and excellent quality. The hotel has many rooms and is set in a beautiful park with swimming pool and loads of facilities. LOVELY peaceful place to stay!!
