The Promenade Luxury Wellness Hotel

This hotel’s location is truly outstanding. The views are breathtaking, the setting is beautiful, and the overall atmosphere is something special. The spectacular scenery alone makes it worth staying here. The restaurant, however, did not quite live up to the expectations created by the surroundings. The food was good but fairly standard, lacking the refinement and creativity one might expect. It felt as though the exceptional location was being used to elevate the dining experience more than the cuisine itself. One detail that stood out was that our food arrived before the wine, which seemed a little odd. The rooms have been renovated and are comfortable, but the refurbishment does not completely hide the age of the property. The building itself and the exterior façade still clearly reflect that this is an older hotel. Overall, this is a good hotel with an incredible location and nicely updated rooms. However, it presents itself as slightly more exclusive and luxurious than it actually is. If you come for the views and the unique setting, you will likely be very pleased. If you expect a truly high-end luxury experience in every aspect, it may fall a little short of expectations.
