Very good hotel. Staff very willing to help and give advice.
The Hotel was in a good location just a short distance from the beach. It was about a 15 minute walk from the train station. The evening meal was a little disappointing considering it was 19 Euros each and they charged us 2 Euros for a litre of water with our meal. The morning breakfast was very good with Coffee, Tea, Orange & Grapefruit juice in addition to toast, cereal, pastries and various cold cuts and cheese. The room was very clean and comfortable and the staff were very helpful with information and directions.
We had stayed one night on a previous visit and were happy to book again for an extended stay of almost a week. Nice views from windows/balconies of sea and/or hills. Very friendly and helpful staff. Decent breakfast buffet. Convenient location. The plus is for those interested in the ceramics of Albisola, or art in general, as there is an abundance of both located within all the public areas of the hotel. Easy access to other towns in Liguria - Savona is only 4 km away.
Very bad mattresses , extremely hard. Noisy corridors.
We stayed here for one night before our Costa Cruise. Very comfortable room, clean with a balcony overlooking the street. Enjoyed an evening meal and a very nice breakfast the next morning, would stay here again. The receptionist was truly helpful and provided us with all the info we needed regarding taxis and Savona port itself.
The girl in the reception was so nice and helpful. Free wi-fi was a big bonus. There was a good variation in the breakfast.
While staying on the Riviera, decided to do an overnight trip to Albissola Marina tro see the Villa Faraggiana. Unfortunately, even though their website said they were open, it was closed the day I was there. The hotel staff was extremely helpful in giving me suggestions for things to see & do. In addition to a high score in friendliness and helpfulness, I have no complaints aboutn the hotel. It was clean, comfortable and in a convenient location.
Very good for overnight stay on our journey into Italy
Just stayed one night at the Garden and had a pleasant stay before heading off on our Costa Cruise. The continental breakfast was very appetizing. If you plan on staying there public transportation (bus stop) is very near and can take you to the port for about €2 as apposed to a €20 cab fare
