Don Felipe Boutique Hotel

Struttura molto belle e ben tenuta. Bella terrazza da dove poter ammirare un panorama spettacolare mentre ci si rilassa sui lettini o si è seduti al bar. Personale estremamente cordiale e disponibile. Sicuramente ci ritorneremo.

Forse la rete Wi-Fi da potenziare un po, ma nulla di così disagevole

La gentilezza e la disponibilità dello staff sopra ogni cosa! Se ci aggiungi la vista stupenda sul castello aragonese, il gioco è fatto!

L'hotel è aggrappato alla costa e strutturato su più livelli con terrazze affacciate su uno scorcio di mare indimenticabile. La nostra stanza con vista su Capri (n.207) era davvero incantevole, profumata e pulitissima. Il belvedere con ombrelloni e tavoli in cui si possono consumare pranzi e cene leggeri è un luogo in cui trascorrere intere giornate sospesi sul mare. Se si vuole fare il bagno, il Don felipe è convenzionato con lo stabilimento Delfini immediatamente sottostante. (1 lettino 20 euro circa). Dall'hotel con una passeggiata di 10 minuti si raggiungono tutti i locali di Ischia Ponte (circa 1 km) e proseguendo ancora si può arrivare a piedi a Ischia Porto. Se non si vuole camminare, all'ingresso della struttura c'è la fermata degli autobus (182 e 183) che portano in centro. L'hotel ha comunque un servizio navetta a pagamento per tutta l'isola.

La colazione con qualche piccolo accorgimento può raggiungere ottimi livelli.

Cordialità del personale, colazione di qualità, struttura curata e pulita. Splendida terrazza sul mare. Posizione tranquilla, lontana dal caos delle zone più frequentate dell'isola.

Piscina molto piccola con pochi lettini sparsi lì nelle vicinanze. Inoltre da tenere bene in considerazione la posizione della struttura: si raggiunge a piedi in 20 min il castello aragonese (con capolinea degli autobus che ti portano ad Ischia porto, lì sotto la struttura)ma per andare al mare lì vicino bisogna accontentarsi di un paio di strutture che dispongono di piattaforme con lettino. Tutto bellissimo con vista sul castello e mare stupendo, ma di certo non adatto a famiglie con bambini o coppie di persone adulte/anziane o con problemi di mobilità.

Hotel Don Felipe ended up being our absolute favourite place during our time on the Amalfi Coast. The location was perfect and the views were simply stunning. Feliciana at reception was incredibly professional and attentive — she helped us with everything and even made sure we didn’t miss the last (and only!) ferry back to the coast. Franco, the night staff, was also so kind and friendly. He recommended some wonderful, non-touristic spots to visit and even brought me some hot water for my morning mates to help with the jet lag. Hopefully we’ll be back one day. A huge thank you to the whole team for making our stay so special!

Everyone who works here are so friendly, helpful and lovely. They all always tried to really help me, and I appreciated how very service-minded and agreeable everyone who worked at Don Felipe is. The view from the terrace is absolutely stunning! I also liked that it was quiet during the day and at night, but my room was at the top so wouldn’t have heard any traffic anyway. The room itself was basic, appropriate for the price in size and furnishings. The patio was a nice surprise :)

My main grievance was the bed, as I found the mattress to be very uncomfortable in a hard and springy way. I didn’t sleep very well so that’s where unfortunately for me the stay loses points. The wifi was quite spotty in connection and slow. Not a serious issue, but 5€ to rent a pool towel was felt a bit stingy, and more practice I connect with hostels.
