Hotel Terramar

Very good hotel and location, decor could do with updating but very chilled out and friendly staff

The staff is absolutely wonderful and the rooms are spectacularly clean. The beds aren't the most comfortable, but its a great value.

Excellent location. Good service. Nice room, slighty thin walls (noise from from upstairs and corridor). We really enjoyed our stay and we definitely recommend Hotel Terramar.

Excellent location - Can't get any closer to the beach! Very clean, large, comfortable (aside from single beds pushed together as a double), air conditioned room. We enjoyed it and the area so much we extended our stay. Friendly and helpful hotel and wait staff, free parking close by, wifi (weak in room) & computer access, and close to everything in town. Also really enjoyed the restaurant and outdoor cafe/bar right off the beach. Breakfast buffet was ok, dinner set menu was great, and drinks with a beach view were fantastic. Appreciated the english translations in the menus and that they were able to communication with us in English.

We stayed here in June. Great Hotel and neat little village immediately relaxing environment. Staff really friendly. Rooms clean and tidy, not overly flash if you were looking for 5 star but can't beat the location outstanding and I would rather have this than a high rise that was new!

This was the perfect location at Llafranc directly opposite the beach. The decor is fresh, inviting and staff welcoming. All the staff are very helpful. Do ask for a terrace room overlooking the sea. The restaurant food is good quality and the outdoor area right next to the beach means you have no need to worry about having your wallet on you as you come in from sunning and swimming - just charge it to your room. We're very happy we stayed here and will do so again when we have the opportunity.

The Terremar is lovely - very welcoming helpful service from reception which continued throughout our stay; they brought us a kettle for the room on arrival and were able to help us with all our questions. We ate in the hotel both nights and the fixed menu was delicious, inventive and excellent value; the service faultless. Llafranc is a great little town; quiet in May but has a lot of small bars and cafes and a good beach. We wanted to return and would go back to the Terremar with no hesitation.

We were delighted to arrive at the hotel and see the gorgeous view from our room. Well located directly across the road from the sea and no more than 10 minutes walk from restaurants etc, the Hotel Terramar was also great value for money. The staff were helpful and friendly, the room was clean and comfortable and there was a good spread, and excellent coffee, for breakfast. The hotel restaurant serves good, reasonably priced food and hotel guests got a free glass of cava with their dinner. For a cheap and quick option, try the pizza place next door which is owned by the same people.

Hotel was directly across from the beach. Close to restaurants. Hotel staff was excellent. Room was clean.

We loved our stay week's stay. It worked really well for our multi-generational group - grandparents, parent, teenager. It's very well located just seconds from the beach, sea and a variety of restaurants and cafes. Staff at the Terramar were extremely friendly, helpful and relaxed, the rooms are very clean and comfortable, (some with contemporary white/minimalist styling, others more trad)bathrooms good. It's defnitely worth taking a room with terrace and hopefully a seaview. We could hear the sea lapping from our first floor seaview room - but there was some early evening noise from the street, so upper floor rooms are quieter. Not enough to disturb sleep however, and there isn't a lot of traffic. Wifi worked really well and was free of charge. Small fridge in the room was very useful. The breakfast is served in the restaurant and is excellent. The restaurant itself is a well designed, relaxed space, with contemporary styling. We preferred it to the other restaurants on the front. Llafranc is very pretty - lovely beach (busy in August of course) loungers and parasol for hire, good swimming and snorkelling and boat trips/hire easily available from the small marina. It's right on the cami de ronda coastal path - and the stroll to Calella (about 25 mins) is easy and has stunning views. Overall it's a very pretty, relaxed, quiet, small resort with a well heeled, well behaved clientele - good mix of nationalities and ages. We woud definitely go back to the Terramar.
