The staff are all attentive and genuinely kind, the building is in first class condition, the room was immaculately clean and comfortable. The food was firstclass and the breakfast a wonderful buffet spread. This after a very long drive from the UK and across France on the way to Val Thorens was a wonderful break, I highly recommend this as the perfect place to stay.

I am writing to formally review my stay on February 17th and to express my dissatisfaction with both the hotel's facilities and their subsequent handling of the complaint. During my stay, the room was without hot water for an extended period. This is a fundamental service, and its absence made basic hygiene difficult and significantly disrupted my travel plans. While the front desk staff (Ms. Cécile Boivert) attempted to resolve the issue by directing me to another hotel, this is not an acceptable solution for a guest paying full price. The inconvenience caused was considerable. I initially requested a partial refund for the night affected by this outage. However, the hotel management's response was unsatisfactory. Instead of addressing the financial impact of their service failure, they offered a "commercial gesture" on a future reservation—a solution I do not value as I have no intention of returning. The hotel acknowledges the technical malfunction but failed to take appropriate financial responsibility. Essential amenities failed, and their proposed resolution failed to compensate for the experience. I cannot recommend this property due to both the lack of maintenance and the lack of a reasonable remedy.

De locatie is perfect. Kamers zijn erg gezellig en de zelfgebakken koekjes waren heerlijk. Men gaat nog ouderwets mee naar de kamer om alles uit te leggen. 's avond in het restaurant heerlijk gegeten. Het ontbijt was ook prima. Zeker een aanrader.

Het uitchecken was lastig. Na lang wachten en bellen, maar op zoek gegaan in de keuken naar iemand die ons verder kon helpen.
