Good extra facilities/ spa/ pool.

Poor reception, stains on carpet in lounge area. Pretentious downstairs decor to reflect quality restaurant which appears to be the only focus of the hotel! On booking we were not invited to reserve the restaurant, the main objective of our stay. On arrival we’re told it was fully booked! They did arrange a lovely alternative but not what was aspired to!

Das Menü im Restaurant war köstlich und ungewöhnlich kreativ. Der Service war sehr aufmerksam. Wir waren begeistert. Das Frühstück war sehr gut. Das Buffet wurde ständig aufgefüllt. Das Ambiente in den öffentlichen Räumen ist ausgefallen und geschmackvoll.

Das Hotel liegt an einer Straße, was nicht unbedingt negativ sein muss. Jedoch hatte das Zimmer ein Fenster zur Straße und an einem Fenster befand sich die Lüftung der Hotelküche, was sehr geräuschintensiv war. Das sog. Familienzimmer (Suite) war karg und ohne den Charme z.B. der Lobby. Die Klinke zum Badezimmer war locker, der Fön funktionierte nicht. Die am Fenster befindlichen Markisen waren abgerissen und flatterten im Wind. Bei der Ankunft wollten wir lieber ein anderes Zimmer nehmen, aber die Rezeptionistin meinte, dass das nicht mehr möglich sei, weil wir das Zimmer über booking.com gebucht hätten.
